Kristen Bell has revealed that she regrets not dating more prior to marrying Dax Shepard.
The 45-year-old actress admitted that she kicks herself for not being as sexually active as she could have been in her heyday.
She made the candid confession on her husband's popular podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.
Bell joined her spouse of 12 years and his co-host Monica Padman for a chat with her Nobody Wants This co-star Justine Lupe earlier this week.

The foursome ended up discussing some of the skeletons in their closets and their past relationships - and Shepard revealed that his wife wishes she'd played the field 'a little more'.
He got hitched to the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star in October 2013, six years after they first met in 2007, and the couple share daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10.
Shepard told listeners: "Kristen is a little regretful...she was very sexually active and she wishes she was even more sexually active."
Bell then chimed in to say: "I just wish I butterflied around a little bit more."

The mother-of-two was then asked to delve deeper into her sexual history by rating the amount of sh*gging she did in her twenties on a scale of one to ten.
Essentially, the higher the number, the hornier Bell was 20 odd years ago - or as Shepard put it: "Zero is a virgin, ten is sex worker."
The Good Place star then responded: "Four - and I just wish I maybe would have gone six."
Shepard and Bell also took the opportunity to jointly address rumours that they have an 'open relationship' and partake in the swinging lifestyle.
They each said they thought the speculation that they were partner-swapping was 'very funny', but insisted there was no truth behind it.

The couple made it clear that they always keep it real with their audience and aren't shy about discussing taboo subjects on the podcast.
Although they both 'used to care a lot' about the public's opinion of them, they both said they 'don't care much at all' anymore.
Discussing the efforts they used to go to in the hopes of maintaining their privacy, Shepard explained: "We hid our engagement, wanted to hide the pregnancy.
"We had a whole season where we were very protective and very secretive - and it consumed us more than it should have, probably."

Bell then chimed in, saying: "But I feel like we dropped it very quickly because we felt the positive reinforcement of when we were honest and authentic.
"The voices that were listening online were so much more real, like, 'I'm so grateful you guys talk about that you're in therapy or that you guys argue'.
"That's way more important. To have connective tissue between the people that you're actually trying to entertain."
Earlier this year, Shepard shared a naked picture of Bell on social media to celebrate her Emmy nomination, which goes to show that they really do bare it all for fans.
