Louis Theroux opened up on his interaction with Jimmy Savile in an honest admission about the former media personality and sex offender.
The documentarian has caused waves with his latest Netflix release, Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere.
As part of the new doc, the British American journalist speaks to numerous social media personalities who are known to be part of the 'Manosphere', an online space where boys and adolescents are taught to have controversial beliefs and views on society.
This can often come across as ignorant and misogynistic, with the likes of Andrew Tate leading the way when it comes to the biggest and most influential names in the space.

But he refused to be in Theroux's documentary, primarily because he wasn't getting paid, though he claimed that it was because he was 'more relevant' than the filmmaker.

Regardless, the documentarian managed to speak to a number of other creators and streamers, one of whom includes HSTikkyTokky, whose comments in a past stream made Bonnie Blue storm off.
Over the decades, Theroux has met a number of characters, some of whom might be thought of as the worst or most evil people you could come across.
Speaking in a new LADbible 'Honest Box' video on YouTube, the 55-year-old was told to answer questions as honestly as possible, including one asking, 'who's the worst person you've met?'
Describing it as 'somewhat subjective', Theroux began: "I've been in prisons. I was in a maximum security mental hospital for pedophiles making a documentary."
Theroux revealed: "My mind tends to go to Jimmy Savile basically because actually when I met him, I was making a documentary, but his crimes had not been discovered.
"So, it was that that strange dissonance of later finding out that he'd done these dreadful things. He'd been a serial sex offender and not knowing at the time, but he's well-advertised as probably the worst kind of 'VIP predator' or person in the public eye who was a predator, certainly of recent times," he admitted.
Theroux had filmed a documentary titled When Louis Met... Jimmy with Savile in 2000, where he spent time with him at homes in Leeds, Scarborough, and Glencoe, asking about his rumours of paedophilia.
Savile denied the claims, though just one year after his death in 2011, it was found that he was a prolific sexual predator who had abused hundreds of people for decades.

The former BBC presenter was posthumously handed over 200 alleged criminal offences, including rape and sexual assault, with victims ranging from young children to those in their 70s.
Theroux reflected on his original documentary in his 2016 documentary Louis Theroux: Savile, where he reflected on past interviews with Savile to examine how he was manipulated by the popular entertainer.
