Man bets MrBeast $1m he can’t make good on ‘faceless’ challenge

If Mr.Beast didn't have his money or following, would anyone watch him?

Mr.Beast is a well-known YouTuber who has amassed nearly 500 million subscribers, and while he’s managed to create a whole brand that has given him notoriety, without it, would anyone watch him?

According to one man, he wouldn’t have an audience if he hid his identity and started fresh.

In fact, the person is so sure that he has publicly bet the influencer that he would even pay him a significant amount of money to prove the challenge.

This comes right off the bat of a clip that shows Mr.Beast claiming he could create a brand-new YouTube channel that doesn’t show his face, and within six months, he could have 20 million subscribers under his belt.

Only known as VladTV, the influencer claims he will pay up to see that happen.

He said that very thing on his Instagram channel whilst sharing an interview of the YouTuber revealing his ability to rebuild his brand from the bottom up: “I’ll bet Mr.Beast $1 million that he can’t do what he claims - start a faceless YouTube channel without his voice and get 20 million subscribers in 6 months. It’s impossible. And before you say I don’t know what I’m talking about, my channel started in 2008 and at 6.4 million subscribers I’m in the top .1% of all YouTube creators. It can’t be done. By him or anyone else.”

But will Mr.Beast take him up on it?

The debate also took off on another platform, X, when VladTV, aka DJ Vlad, replied, ‘Nah. Not happening. I’ll bet a million he couldn’t pull that off’.

This all happened underneath the viral tweet of the challenger stating: "I could start a new channel tomorrow with not using my face or my voice, without ever promoting it, and in six months, have 20 million subscribers. It's purely knowledge. If you knew what I knew, you could get 10 million views a video, and you could get 10 million subscribers no matter where you are right now, within six months. It really is just knowledge."

While the debate came in hot, it seems that it is evenly matched.

One person wrote: “If he could do this he would already be doing it over and over.”

Another said: “I believe he could do it. He has more knowledge on youtube than every single know-it-all in this sub put together that thinks he can't.”

Someone else commented: “False, he could not do this as a single person. Pure b******* and arrogance from a 20 something. Money makes people psycho.”

Finally, one wrote: “With the amount of money he has to make videos, yes I think he could do this. If he started a faceless let's play channel? Not a chance.”

But who knows? Maybe he can do it.
