Jennifer Lawrence wants to put the rumours about her intentionally having bad breath to bed, once and for all.
The actress, 36, has now set the record straight after years of being haunted by the words of her The Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth.
He previously claimed that Lawrence purposely left the unsavoury smells of foods such as tuna and garlic on her breath before they had to kiss each other on camera - but she says otherwise.
Lawrence and Hemsworth's on-screen romance might have left viewers swooning, however, their relationship in really life is strictly platonic.

She is happily married to art dealer and father of her two children, Cooke Maroney, while he is engaged to model Gabriella Brooks.

The stars, who portrayed Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games, previously admitted that they have locked lips 'one time', but insist it has never gone any further.
And based off Hemsworth's previous comments about the stench of his love interest's breath, fans thought that there was a clear reason for this.
During an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's chat show back in 2014, the Aussie actor explained that he found it 'pretty uncomfortable' to smooch Lawrence on set.
Explaining what he meant, Hemsworth went on: "When you look at it on the outside, it looks like a great picture. She’s one of my best friends. I love her.
"But if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish, or something that was disgusting.

Hemsworth added: "Right before the scene, she’d be like, ‘Yeah, I ate tuna,’ or ‘I had garlic, and I didn’t brush my teeth'.
"And I’d be like, 'Fantastic, I can’t wait to get in there and taste it!'"
Silver Linings Playbook star Lawrence previously tried to clear her name back in 2023 while appearing on the hit YouTube series Hot Ones.
While chowing down on some seriously spicy chicken wings with host Sean Evans, the mum-of-two explained that her stinky breath was 'not intentional'.
"It was just what I was eating, and then we’d kiss," she laughed. "He should just get over it."
'I would just eat tuna'
Lawrence sat down on the Call Her Daddy podcast this week and again attempted to clarify that she didn't purposely make her breath pong before snogging scenes with Hemsworth.
When host Alex Cooper quizzed her about what possessed her to deliberately eat tuna and garlic before kissing the heartthrob, the Kentucky-born actress said: "I didn’t!
"I think that like...I don’t even know what to say, Liam.
"We are filming for many months and filming takes a lot of time.
"He made it seem like that’s just like something I did like on purpose. Like, I would just…eat tuna."

It turns out that Lawrence is just a massive fan of tuna fish - and previously revealed that there is only one man who she ensured her breath was minty-fresh for before kissing him on camera.
While appearing on The Graham Norton Show in 2016, she recalled how she 'didn't care' about what she was eating before canoodling with her Hunger Games co-stars Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
However, the same did not apply during filming for the 2013 flick American Hustle.
Lawrence - who has just unveiled her new look - joked: "Then I did American Hustle with Christian Bale and I was like, 'Oh damn' - and I was really clean and ate lots and lots of mints."
