Millie Bobby Brown shares sweet look into motherhood after adopting baby girl

Millie Bobby Brown has given fans a glimpse of how she's adjusting to motherhood with a series of sweet snaps.

Although most parents are sleep-deprived and scruffy-looking in the early stages, the Stranger Things star and her husband Jake Bongiovi look like they're enjoying every moment.

The couple announced that they had welcomed a baby girl into the fold in a social media post two weeks ago.

Taking to Instagram on 21 August, Brown said: "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.

"We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy."

The 21-year-old had always planned to start a family when she was young, as she was keen to follow in the footsteps of her own parents, Robert and Kelly.

"I'm still really young, but my mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19," Brown told the SmartLess podcast earlier this year.

"It's been my thing since before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mum just like the way my mum was to me and, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life.

"And, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family. For me personally, it's a huge thing."

Thankfully, Bongiovi was on the same page too - and, like his other half, he was also interested in exploring the adoption process.

Brown added: "My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I - our energy in the house is like, 'The door is always open'."

Now, she's given fans a sneak peek of what goes on behind closed doors in the Brown-Bongiovi household.

In a post shared on Monday (September 1), the Damsel actress shared a photo dump that showed fans how her foray into motherhood has been going.

As well as uploading a loved-up mirror picture of Bongiovi kissing her cheek, she posted a snap of him holding a baby carrier which had some extremely precious cargo inside.

The model and actor, who is the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, was seen strolling across the tarmac at an airport while carrying his daughter along with him.

In another, Brown was pictured with a backpack slung over one shoulder and a duffel bag in the other - with her excess luggage proving she really is a part of the parents club.

Mums seem to turn into mules when their baby enters the world, as there's no such thing as packing light when there's an infant in tow.

Fans of Brown and Bongiovi flooded the comment section of her latest post with their congratulations once again.

One person wrote: "Motherhood looks beautiful on you," while another said: "Jake on dad duty, we love to see it!"

A third added: "Good luck in this new phase of your life. You will be wonderful parents."

While a fourth simply commented: "MOM & DAD."

Brown got hitched to Bongiovi in October last year, just over a year after the pair had got engaged.
