Millie Bobby Brown confirms that she and boyfriend Jake Bongiovi are engaged

Millie Bobby Brown has announced that she and boyfriend Jake Bongiovi are engaged.

In a post to Instagram, the Stranger Things star shared a snap of the pair together, showing off her ring.

"I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all," the actor wrote.

Since sharing the exciting news, fans have piled into the comments to offer their congratulations to the couple.

One follower said: "Congratulations! You are so cute together."

Another commented: "OMG CONGRATSSS."

Sharing a photo to his page, Bongiovi, son of rock legend Bon Jovi, wrote: "Forever."

The announcement comes after rumours began doing the rounds on social media that the pair could be set to tie the knot.

Fans started speculating after seeing a snap of Brown, 19, with her hand in the air and a huge diamond ring on her finger.

The couple have been dating since 2021, but only went public with it last year, when Bongiovi, 20, accompanied the British actor to the BAFTAs.

Well, it looks like Brown won't be needing to cash in on that deal she made with co-star Noah Schnapp - aka Will Byers.

In a recent interview, the pair said they would get married if neither of them had found someone by the time they are 40.

"We said if we're not married by 40, we'll get married together because we'd be good roomies," she told MTV News.

As well as being predicated on them both being single in a good 20+ years, Brown also pointed out a few other important conditions.

She continued: "Completely platonically, we would still be really good roomies.

Brown and Noah Schnapp joked that they'd get married.

"No kids, though, because I could not deal with a child of yours... yeah, that's my dealbreaker too.

"Yeah, no kids at all. Only dogs... and separate bedrooms, for sure - my God, you're so messy."

But while they might not tie the knot anytime soon, they've certainly built a friendship that will stand the test of time.

The sci-fi drama that brought them together was first released back in 2016, meaning they've grown up alongside each other, both on and off the screen.

Brown said: "Noah and I have been friends for eight years, I've known you since I was 10.

"We have built such a friendship together, I feel like. And you're also one of the longest friends I've ever had, I don't know if you know that, but I didn't grow up in school so I didn't have any friends from my childhood, so you really are one of those people for me."
