Ozzy Osbourne's son has revealed how his late rockstar father sent his final hours before tragically passing away.

The Black Sabbath star sadly died last July, as his family released a heartfelt statement to share the news, saying: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

“He was with his family and surrounded by love."

Osbourne didn't go out quietly though, as just days prior, he performed at his iconic Back to the Beginning concert, hosted at the stadium of his favourite football team, Aston Villa.

The likes of Metallica, Guns N' Roses and Alice in Chains also performed at the show, with Osbourne even donating its earnings of around £140 million to charity as a final act of goodwill.

His wife, Sharon, revealed that his last words of asking her to kiss him will stay with her forever, adding: "If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter."

Jack, who more recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, recently explained how his late dad's last day went.

He previously said that his dad 'f***ing couldn't stand' people wallowing in grief, but said that everyone in the family will 'all keep having dreams about him'.

Speaking on Jamie Kennedy's podcast Hate to Break It to Ya on Wednesday (4 March), he said that the day of 22 July 2025 was like any other.

"It was a few days after I got back that he passed, and we were… Even the morning that he passed, it was like — it wasn’t anything dramatic at all," the 40-year-old admitted.

Jack added: "He was up, he was doing his thing, had some breakfast, and that was it."

He said that while his dad had a number of health battles, his death was 'a surprise for sure', revealing: “Obviously everyone knew he was sick, but it wasn’t… He was really gearing up for the [Black Sabbath final] show, so he was exercising a lot and moving around. He was fired up.”

“But yeah, we weren’t expecting it to be as quick as it was. I just think he was done… I do think we have a choice, to a degree,” the media personality added.

The Osbournes have spoken about how they've been since Ozzy's passing, as Sharon even said in December that she got a voicemail from President Donald Trump.

Ozzy's daughter, Kelly, said that they received an 'outpouring of love', while Sharon said: "Ozzy, he wouldn't believe it. He wouldn't. He didn't realise how much he was loved, and that was his beauty, because he never took it for granted from anyone.

"He never took it for granted. He had no idea."
