Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa has made a major update to her social media that has left people stumped.
2025 was quite the year for JoJo as she entered into a relationship with her Big Brother UK housemate, Chris Hughes, following a whirlwind romance.
The 22-year-old and the 33-year-old Love Island alum became fast friends during their time in the Big Brother house, with Siwa already having a partner, Kath Ebbs, while on the show.
After leaving Big Brother, however, the 'Karma' singer and Ebbs went their separate ways, and in June, Siwa confirmed to The Guardian that her and Chris's relationship had become romantic.

Fast-forward to the end of 2025: like many people, JoJo opted to post a 'year in review' as 2026 approached. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that her name tag had changed on her TikTok account.

Her name now reads as Joelle Siwa, which is her real name.
A few social media users were struck by finding out her real name, as one person said: "YOUR NAME IS JOELLE?!??"
A second commented: "ummm joelle siwa? i missed a few chapters," while a third wrote: "JoJo does this mean your real name is Joelle?"
And a fourth asked: "WHO THE HELL is Joelle Siwa?"
Others were living for the name change, though, with someone else commenting: "Ahh, the username change to Joelle Siwa yessss."

Meanwhile, on Reddit, many noted that Chris often refers to JoJo as Joelle, which was noted during their sit-down with The Sun last month.
It seems it might be a gradual change, as she has kept her name the same on Instagram, where she has a whopping 11.2 million followers.
JoJo also gave fans a sneak peek into what is looking like a busy year for her, as in her video, which featured her lip-syncing to her song 'Boomerang', she wrote: "Any plans for 2026?"
The caption reads: "What a year it is ahead."
Last month was a special time for JoJo and Chris, as they spent their first Christmas together.

Siwa had her first British Christmas with Chris's family in the UK after spending time in the US with her family.
"It’s my first Christmas away from my family – and in England, too!" she said to The Sun, as Chris said his mother is 'absolutely delighted' that JoJo will be joining them.
Talk then moved on to possible engagement plans, though Chris was clear that it isn't on the cards just yet.
"You always get people who get engaged at Christmas. I see it on Instagram every year. I like the idea of it not being at a time where it could be expected," he said.
That doesn't mean she hasn't thought about what she would like for her big day; she revealed she'd like a 'baby-blue colour scheme' and would help him 'make the playlist'.
