Phil Foden's partner forced to step in as Lily Phillips approaches footballer

An extremely awkward interaction between Lily Phillips and Phil Foden was caught on camera, as the OnlyFans star attempted to grab a selfie with the Manchester City star.

The adult performer was in attendance at last Saturday's Misfits Boxing event, which saw Tommy Fury debut his newborn son's name to the world, and appeared to be in the mood to schmooze, approaching various celebrities across the evening.

However, there was one person who appeared less than impressed to be approached by the 24-year-old: Phil Foden's partner, Rebecca Cooke.

In an awkward interaction caught on camera, Phillips approached the midfielder while he was seated in the crowd alongside Cooke.

Phillips then leans forward and attempts to ask Foden a question, only for Cooke to put her arm in front of the 26-year-old and wave her away.

The moment has since gone viral online, which you can watch below:

The interaction has divided viewers online, with several people defending Cooke for waving Phillips away.

"The audacity to even approach him when his missus is there is just," one person wrote.

"Fair play to Mrs Foden," added another, while a third penned: "Oh she’s not playing, Queen."

However, Phillips has since fiercely defended her actions, accusing Cooke of being 'extremely judgmental'.

"Before I could even finish my sentence, his girlfriend, wife, whatever... was waving her b***dy finger in my face," Phillips told LADbible.

"I was just asking for a photo, I'm not gonna shag your man. So I was like, settle down."

Cooke has stood by Foden throughout his professional career, with the couple initially crossing paths while at school in Stockport. The couple are parents to three children, the youngest of whom was born during England's 2024 Euros campaign.

Foden was able to attend the event as he is not part of Thomas Tuchel's Three Lions squad, who are set to kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia tonight.

Meanwhile, Phillips is currently reported to be in a relationship with Aussie man Sammy, whom she met through fellow adult creator Annie Knight.

The content creator also revealed that she'd had more positive interactions with other celebrities during the event, sharing selfies which she'd been able to grab with Molly-Mae Hague and Tyson Fury.

"He looked at me, pointed at me and waved to me," Phillips said of meeting Fury, adding that he'd even joked about her fighting brother Tommy in the future.

"It's actually so funny sometimes, because I wonder, do these people know me from social media or from a certain website?"
