Rebecca Ferguson made viral headlines in February of 2024 after exposing a co-star who was an ‘absolute idiot’, claiming that an actor who was ‘number one on the call sheet’ screamed at her on set during filming.
The Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man star has become one of the most beloved actors around in the last few years with her roles in the Mission Impossible films, Dune, and The Greatest Showman earning her plaudits.
She now has spoken about why she exposed the ‘absolute idiot’ actor in a new podcast promoting the Peaky Blinders movie’s upcoming release on Netflix.
Ferguson has never bene one afraid to be blunt and honest in her opinions, even admitting in the press tour for The Immortal Man that she hasn’t watched the show, but this admission was a surprising one even for her.
Ferguson claimed that the actor berated her on set in front of the crew – but because of their celebrity status nothing could be done

In 2024 Ferguson appeared on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, where she said that an ‘idiot’ co-star had made her cry.
Later, in an interview with The Times, she gave more context saying: “This person would literally look at me and say, ‘You call yourself an actor’.
“I remember being so scared. And I looked at this person and said: ‘You can eff off. I’m going to work toward a tennis ball. I never want to see you again.’”
She went on to add: “I will shove someone under a bus in front of an entire crew to make a point. I don’t applaud my own behaviour in that. It’s a really tricky world.
“We put a lot of blame on bullies, and when we get older, we can understand that people are insecure.
"When you start standing up for yourself, it’s really tricky.”
Ferguson opened up about why she decided to publicly shame her co-star

The Immortal Man actor has never specified who the actor in question is, other than to deny it was her previous high profile co-stars Tom Cruise, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds.
Appearing on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the host asked if her public comments had caused co-stars to be afraid to ‘f*ck around’ with her.
The Mission Impossible actor revealed: “My intention going into that podcast, he was great, I wasn’t thinking that I was doing something.
“The conversation we had was about ‘what have you learned through your years of filming’… the memory came up and it was nothing pre-empted, I don’t want to ‘out’ anyone.
“I know it becomes interesting and exciting, but I could care f*ck all for people to find out.
“The whole journey was why is it so hard in certain environments to speak up. Why is it that some people, whether it is insecurities, get the autonomy to be d*cks… what gives them the right.”
