People have noticed a strange detail in the Osbourne family statement after legendary rocker Ozzy passed away yesterday.

The former Black Sabbath frontman had reunited with the old band in Birmingham for a charity gig only last week, but he passed away 'surrounded by love' on Tuesday 22 July at the age of 76.

Ozzy had suffered from various health issues in recent years and endured a 22-year battle with Parkinson's disease, despite only going public with the illness in 2020, and it was revealed earlier this year that he could no longer walk.

At his recent gig, which saw Jason Momoa in attendance and raised well over £1 million for charity, the rockstar sang from a black throne alongside his former bandmates, with the crowd going wild for what would ultimately prove to be his final performance.

Ozzy shared three children (Jack, Aimee, and Kelly) with Sharon and two (Louis and Jessica) with his first wife Thelma Riley, while also adopting her son Elliot Kingsley, taking his total tally to six.

Following the news of his death, the Osbourne family said in a statement on Tuesday: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."

It is well-known that Aimee and Kelly no longer speak to each other, with Kelly confirming on the Dax Shepard podcast - Armchair Expert in 2021, saying: "We don't talk. We're just really different.

However, despite their obvious differences, both made the statement, which has left people wondering why Elliot and Jessica were completely omitted.

It remains a mystery why they weren't included, but Jessica did make a public tribute to her father on Instagram, posting a story which read 'RIP Ozzy'.

Elliot meanwhile has no public social media accounts, so it is unclear whether he will pay tribute to his step-father, with Ozzy having adopted him over 50 years ago when he was around the age of five.

Meanwhile, Sharon was able to help fulfil Ozzy's 'final wish' before his passing after the family moved back to the UK, close to where the Prince of Darkness was born back in 1948.

Other big names in the world of music including Elton John, Bon Jovi, and Yungblud have paid tribute to Osbourne following his death, with the latter writing: "I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time."
