Snoop Dogg is one of the best in the business when it comes to live performances and he gave another iconic one on Christmas Day.
The American rapper and singer was signed up for the Christmas halftime show during Netflix's recent stream of the NFL fixture between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.
While the Vikings ended up taking a comprehensive 23-10 victory, it seems as if fans are in agreement that the best performance of the night was the one delivered by the man more associated with 420.
Very few people can claim to be as cool as the 54-year-old, although he did once admit that he was 'out-gangstered' by just one name in the music industry early in his career.

Snoop opened with some vintage Dr Dre collabs 'The Next Episode' and 'Nuthin' but a "G" Thang'.

Things then took a turn when he was joined by the singers behind HUNTR/X, the fictional band from Netflix's smash hit KPop Demon Hunters singing 'The 12 Days of Christmas'.
He was later joined by country singer Lainey Wilson, who sung 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town', before opera icon Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo showed up to sing 'White Christmas', closing out a genre-bending set,
Although the idea of football on Christmas Day is a foreign concept here in the UK, the Americans clearly loved it and even as a staunch halftime show hater, you can't fail to deny Dogg's stage presence.

And fans across the world clearly enjoyed seeing Snoop drop it like it's hot, with many suggesting that it was one of the best of all-time, even beating out the likes of Lady Gaga's 2017 Super Bowl set and Kendrick Lamar's iconic lines at last year's event.
One fan said: "Better than any super bowl halftime show I can remember."
Another wrote: "ONE OF THE GREATEST HALFTIME SHOWS OF ALL-TIME."
A third commented: "Netflix going all-in on Christmas halftime shows is peak streaming era energy."
A fourth added: "Snoop just reminded everyone what a real halftime vibe looks like."
The good news for any music fans who might not be into American sports is that next year's World Cup will of course be partially hosted by the US, and there's nothing we football fans will love more than seeing the Village People come out when we're 1-0 down to Panama in the group stage.

Although I am hopefully joking when I suggest that, the recent group stage draw was certainly more focused on the entertainment than the sport itself, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see them go down a similar route for some of the bigger games which America hosts.
But if we get Snoop Dogg coming out in the final when it's finally coming home, then fans will probably be willing to make an exception.
Although for the prices of some of the tickets, you'd be hoping that The Beatles would be reforming during Iran vs New Zealand, if it's only the Kiwis that are there to see it.
