Sophie Turner has revealed that she was the final nail in the coffin of a celebrity couple after some accidental 'flirting' at an industry party.
The Game of Thrones star divulged the anecdote during a recent interview with Seth Meyers to promote her upcoming film Trust, and revealed that she found herself in the awkward situation at a San Diego Comic-Con afterparty several years ago.
Recalling the incident, Turner said: "That night was actually quite crazy for me... it went really south really quick."
So, what happened?

According to the 29-year-old, she was in attendance alongside a childhood friend and decided to do what all good mates do and be the icebreaker between herself and a guy at the bash.
Only the 'guy' in this scenario just happened to be a Hollywood actor.

"She saw this actor that she like loved," she explained. "And she obviously goes to me 'Can you just like say hi?'"
Turner wasn't familiar with the actor but decided to be a good sport anyway and wave at the man. "That was it," she added.

However, the seemingly innocent interaction was far from over as the Joan star later noticed a famous actress who she admired looking at her.
"I have to go and tell her how much she means to me," the mum-of-two continued: "So I danced on over... and she goes 'can you stop f**king flirting with my fiancé?'"
Of course, the fiancé in question was the very man who Turner had waved at earlier in the night.
"I have no idea who this man is," Turner revealed. "Turns out, they broke their engagement off that night because of my [wave].
"I didn’t realise I held this power."
As awkward as the situation was for Turner, if all it takes is a wave to end an engagement then it's likely to relationship had been on the rocks for a while.

Unfortunately for us, Turner didn't reveal the names of the Hollywood ex-couple as she'd get 'in trouble'. Although, I'd imagine that one major internet sleuth has been able to come up with some pretty credible theories.
Meanwhile, it's shaping up to be a busy couple of months for Turner, as she's also set to star alongside former GOT co-star Kit Harington in upcoming film The Dreadful. The gothic horror flick is set during the Wars of the Roses and, while little has been revealed about the plot, the film will see the pair share intimate scenes – a moment which Turner joked was 'vile'.
"We are both retching," she said of their first kissing scene. "Like, really, it is vile. It was the worst."
