Patriots star and father of Cardi B's child, Stefon Diggs, has been accused of assaulting his female personal chef.
The New England receiver, who recently welcomed a baby with the 'WAP' hitmaker, is facing charges of felony strangulation and a lower-level assault charge from an alleged incident on 2 December.
A woman who worked as his chef claimed the 32-year-old slapped and choked her until she blacked out at their $2.5 million Dedham home, according to a police report obtained by the New York Post.
The four-foot 11 inch chef said Diggs, who is six feet tall, 'smacked' her across the face over a dispute about her pay.

“I won’t be paying you s**t,” one of Diggs’ alleged texts read. “I don’t gotta do a mf thing.”

“F**k I look like paying you,” he allegedly wrote in another message. “Is you high bitc [sic].”
“The male then tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck. She said that he was behind her with his arm wrapped around her,” the police report read.
“She said that she did feel like she had trouble breathing and that she felt like she could have blacked out. She said that as she tried to pry his arm away, he tightened his grip,” it added.
“At that point, the male threw her onto the bed. He said something to the effect of 'Though so'. And then she told him that she still hadn’t been paid. At that point, the male said ‘Lies’ and walked out of the room.

“The message stated something to the effect of ‘you don’t need to do all this. It’s not that big of a deal’.”
Diggs' attorney says the American football player 'categorically denies these allegations'.
“They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated — because they did not occur,” David Meier said.
“The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction.
“Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law.”
It comes after Cardi B, who appeared to spend Christmas day separate from Diggs, accused her fans of being 'too mean'.

“You need to calm down,” the mother-of-four said in a video posted on social media. “You’ve been dragging me for three or four days, you’ve been a little bit too mean.
“I can’t go back in time, I already had a baby. You want me to put my baby back? What do you want me to do, you want me to leave my man?”
The rapper added: “I have so much work to do when January starts that is stressing me out, I have to rehearse for 10-12 hours a day for tour. I need my support system, my fans, to love me. I want good for you. Wish me the same thing.”
The pair have been romantically linked since October 2024.
