One of Usher's halftime guests was accused of 'faking it' during performance

One of Usher's halftime guests was accused of 'faking it' during performance

Usher was joined by several special guests for his Super Bowl show

One of the biggest parts of the Super Bowl has taken place.

Obviously other than the actual game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, the halftime show is a major feature.

And Usher brought out a host of special guests as he performed the legendary slot.

In celebration of his epic 30-year-long career, the ‘Love in This Club’ singer was joined by the likes of Alicia Keys, Lil John and Ludacris.

While some viewers think there was someone missing from his Super Bowl performance, others are accusing one of Usher’s guests of ‘faking it’.

The singer brought out H.E.R. for a guitar solo on his 2004 track ‘Burn’.

She played the epic piece from the stage as viewers wrote on X that she ‘ate that up’.

Others said she’s ‘so damn talented’ and absolutely ‘brought it’ tonight.

However, not everyone was so impressed as some accused of her of not actually playing the guitar.

One slammed: “H.E.R. was not even playing that guitar??? It was so obvious.”

And another put: “I don’t know what guitar she was playing but it wasn’t the one on the stage.”

With someone else echoing: “Wasn’t playing a damn thing.”

However, others said she did it ‘justice’ and ‘killed it’ with many saying it was one of the things that ‘saved the show’.

Viewers praised Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show as many called him their ‘GOAT’ and they had ‘an absolute blast’ watching it.

Although, some were disappointed as they were convinced that Justin Bieber would make a surprise appearance.

Usher of course featured on Bieber’s 2010 hit, ‘Somebody to Love’.

He also featured on a remix of the Canadian singer’s ‘Peaches’ in 2021 with Ludacris and had a big part in signing him as a young teen some 16 years ago - bet that makes you feel old.

So, some users on X were ‘heartbroken’ when Bieber didn’t appear during Usher’s performance - although he was watching on from the crowd.

One wrote: “Missed opportunity for Justin Bieber to come out.”

Another posted: “WHERE IS JUSTIN BIEBER?”

While a third put: “I guess we’re just gonna have to wait until they give Justin Bieber a halftime show.”

And someone else echoed: “Can’t believe usher didn’t bring out Justin Bieber. a missed opportunity fr.”

Bieber is watching on though, as he’s joined in the crowd by wife Hailey.

LADbible has contacted representatives for H.E.R. for comment.
