Kid Rock has insisted he wasn't lip-syncing during his performance at Turning Point USA's alternative Super Bowl show.
The right wing organisation decided what an event which is supposed to bring all Americans together needed was them putting on what they called a celebration of 'faith, family, and freedom'.
There's nothing that says togetherness quite like f**king off to do your own thing apart from everyone else, and while the Super Bowl had Bad Bunny putting on a performance, which broke viewing figure records with around 135 million tuning in, Turning Point USA could only scrape a fraction of that together.
Their own show couldn't be streamed on many platforms because of licensing issues, but once they got it going, a few million did livestream the event headlined by Kid Rock, who faced accusations that he'd been lip-syncing - something viewers labelled 'embarrassing'.

The singer told Fox News he definitely hadn't been doing that when the host said he'd sounded 'out of whack'.

Kid Rock admitted that he'd been 'out of sync' during the show, but held that up as evidence that he couldn't have been lip-syncing because, if he had, then everything would have sounded much smoother.
Saying it 'would’ve been super easy to sync it up if it was pre-recorded', Kid Rock said his team 'tried to get it right' but 'it was very difficult'.
He also claimed he'd performed the show wrong 'just to have some fun with the haters' and his DJ would be joining him soon so they could show people how they did it.
"He’s coming to Nashville tonight, flying in. We’re going to do that live in my living room and I’m going to post it tomorrow to show people exactly how this works," the singer said.
His halftime show was never going to come anywhere near close to the actual Super Bowl experience in terms of viewing figures, with the NFL event boasting an audience over 100 million strong, who were happy enough with what Bad Bunny put on for them.

In case you missed Bad Bunny's show, he had a bunch of celebrity guests joining him on the pitch and there was an actual wedding going on during the performance.
If you were watching, you'd have seen a couple tying the knot and it turns out that was an actual marriage, they'd invited Bad Bunny to their wedding and he'd countered by inviting the to the Super Bowl.
He also handed a Grammy award to a young child who many viewers mistook for Liam Conejo Ramos, a boy who was detained by ICE, but it was actually child actor Lincoln Fox.
The whole bit was supposed to show that anyone could follow their dreams, ABC News reported.
