Swifties might want to consider a rebrand sometime soon, as Taylor could be getting a new surname - Kelce.
Although it's unlikely that the pop star will relinquish her maiden name when she gets hitched, it's certainly something to think about after news broke that she's now engaged.
The 'Love Story' singer, 35, shared a series of images to Instagram on Tuesday (26 August), showing the lavish proposal that NFL star Kelce had organised to pop the question to her.
The couple - who publicly announced their relationship in 2023 - were seen surrounded by flowers as they sweetly embraced while celebrating their next step.

And, of course, Swift couldn't resist showing off the huge rock that her fella put on her finger.
According to Forbes, the engagement ring presented to her by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce, 35, appears to be an 8-carat Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond set on a gold band.
Swifties are going through every minute detail of the proposal pictures with a fine tooth comb as we speak - but it's Swift's caption which has grabbed the attention of average social media users.

It read: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," while the Grammy winner also added a firecracker emoji for good measure.

Although die hard fans might have understood it straight away, a person who doesn't have a clue about Swift and Kelce's combined lore is inevitably going to be left a smidge confused by the nicknames.
Her 2024 hit 'So High School' was also attached to the post, which is said to be laden with lyrics about her romance with Kelce and how they've been compared to being the ultimate high school couple.
Which, to be quite frank, is more than enough educational references for one engagement post.
However, as Swifties will already be aware, there's a method to the singer's madness.
As Swift is such a talented songwriter, she's often been compared to a scholar - and tons of fans have previously taken to social media to discuss how she gives off 'English teacher vibes'.

The Pennsylvania-born star has also made a ton of literary references in her music throughout her career, such as dedicating her 2008 track 'Love Story' to Shakespeare's infamous characters Romeo and Juliet.
Another example is her mention of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter in her 2014 hit, 'New Romantics'.
Some supporters also reckon she's just got the look of an English teacher - in a complimentary way, of course.
One fan previously wrote on X: "I just realised that one of the reasons I love Taylor Swift is because she gives such english teacher vibes."

Another added: "Taylor would be my favourite English teacher and I'd probably have a crush on her."
So, when she started dating Kelce - a sports star - it was only a matter of time before fans dubbed him a gym teacher - or a PE teacher on our side of the pond.
And, although she has plenty of apt lyrics that would have made the perfect caption for her proposal post, it seems Swift thought opting to lean into this inside joke with her fans was the best bet.

While congratulating the love birds, loads of social media users left comments under Swift's post referencing her caption.

One person said: "Can we talk about how she called herself an english teacher and Travis a gym teacher?!"
Another wrote: "Taylor referring to herself as an english teacher is the only information my brain will retain."
A third added: "I love Taylor Swift bc she is corny like yes English teacher and high school gym teacher!!!"
While a fourth chimed in saying: "Taylor being aware that we call her an English teacher..."
Others admitted they didn't get the joke - which is exactly what we're here for, folks.
