Cerys Matthews MBE will be taking to the Glastonbury stages this year as a presenter, and will be welcoming some of the biggest artists from around the world, including Billie Eilish, Paul Mccartney and AJ Tracey, to Worthy Farm in Somerset.
The festival will run from 22nd June to 26th, and it seems as though the weather might be in favour of campers who are willing the rain not to make an appearance!
53-year-old Matthews has proved to be one of Wales’ most successful singers of all time, alongside everyone’s favourite Welshie, that being Tom Jones of course.
Cerys is no stranger to a big stage with thousands watching, and with Glastonbury just a day away, people are wondering what her net worth is in 2022. Well luckily, you’re in the right place…
Matthews rose to fame in the early 90s by becoming the founding member of the Welsh rock band Catatonia. She has since had a successful career as a musician and presenter, and hosts weekly radio shows on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Radio 2.
Cerys is also quite the business woman, and co-founded a new and innovative festival in 2014 called The Good Life Experience. The festival attracts thousands each year and is held in Cheshire.
Matthews was awarded her MBE in 2014, a prestigious award given to her by Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, due to her services to music.
The ‘Calon Lan’ singer married musician Steve Abbot in 2012, they now have three children together and reside in a swish West London mansion.
