Dwayne Johnson has explained the circumstances that led to an absolutely bizarre video showing The People’s Champ being brought a crowd-surfing baby. Seriously, check it out below – it’s pretty out there.
In this remarkably odd video, The Rock seems a little taken aback to be handed the child, but he conducted himself like a pro and took the child anyway.
At one stage, it even looks like the child gives a little wave, although the crowd must have had her a little discombobulated.

Of course, it’s not as if the baby was actually being buffeted and bashed around by the crowd, as the child’s father was holding her up above the crowd that had gathered to see Johnson on a tour of Mexico to promote his new flick Black Adam.
It’s all nice and safe and there’s certainly no call for child services to get involved.
Apparently, this is the sort of thing that happens all the time when you’re The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment and one of the most recognisable faces in the world.
So, after the incident went viral, Rocky took to Instagram to explain what actually happened and how he felt about it.
He said: “Our Black Adam Tour has been electric, fun and emotional,
“People do cry and they hand me things - I was NOT surprised to be handed this beautiful little baby.”
Well, most people would be.
Johnson went on: “Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes when he held her up high and gestured for me to hold her.
“I honestly thought he was holding a toy doll he wanted me to have as a gift.
“This beautiful, serene, present and trusting angel is Luciana.
“One day, I bet she’ll inspire all those around her.
“And whatever this moment meant for her emotional father - means it meant something special for me too.”
He concluded: “Love you back Mexico and the mana is strong.”
For those who aren’t aware, mana is a Polynesian term for a spiritual energy and healing power that flows through the universe.
The former WWE star’s post has garnered thousands of comments, with most people seeing the video for what it is – a wholesome moment.
Yeah, some have said that the baby looks a bit scared at times, but ultimately she came to no harm and was in no danger.
One person commented that the video is ‘one of the greatest videos of all time’.
Another said: “So beautiful.”
A third wrote: “Wowww!!! THIS IS SOOO AWESOME BROTHA!”
