Hold on to your hats, Walter White fans - a cast list is reported to have been confirmed for the upcoming Breaking Bad movie.

In November the man himself, Bryan Cranston - who played Walter across the show's five seasons between 2008 and 2013 - said there would be a movie, and since then fans have been dying to know who's going to be in it.

Online film publication Revenge of the Fans claims to have done some digging and worked out who will feature in the movie - currently in production under the title Greenbrier.

Yes, you guessed it: the site says everyone's favourite duo Jesse (played by Aaron Paul) and Walter will reunite for the big screen, despite the tricky issue of the latter's demise at the end of season five (ahhh, c'mon, it finished it 2013. You want a spoiler alert for that?).

Along with Cranston and Paul, the site claims Krysten Ritter, Jonathan Banks, Jesse Plemons, Charles Baker, Matt Jones and Robert Forster would all return, along with a 'few surprises'.

Revenge of the Fans states: "Not only will the story [to] find a way bring back Ritter's Jane - with whom Jesse had a tragic love affair way back during the show's first season - but series star Cranston is set to play some sort of role in the new film as well. This, despite both characters having met their ends on the show."

This all comes after Cranston did an interview on The Dan Patrick Show, where he not only confirmed that a film was on its way, but also that he had spoken to Vince Gilligan about the project. He did admit, however, that he hadn't yet seen a script. Presumably that's changed by this stage...

In the interview, Bryan said: "There appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad, but I have honestly not even read the script.

"There is a question [of] whether we'd even see Walter White in the movie. I would absolutely do it [play Walter again] - it's Vince Gilligan and he's a genius."

He added that he'd like to see some closure for some of the storylines that remained unresolved by the show's conclusion.

He said: "It's a great story and there's a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open.

"This idea, from what I'm told, gets into those - at least a couple of the characters who were not completed as far as their journey."

However, at this stage there still isn't much information on when the film will be set - so whether it will resume the story as a sequel, or simply function as a Breaking Bad universe spin-off like Netflix hit Better Call Saul, is still up in the air.

Bryan added: "I'm excited about it because it's Breaking Bad and it was the greatest professional period of my life and I can't wait to see all those people again."
