The Chase is pretty much in uncharted territory when it comes to quiz shows. Some might argue that Pointless is up there, but I'm just not willing to accept that.
The show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, has you on the edge of your seat, screaming answers at the TV while simultaneously slagging off the contestant that takes the low offer. And then there's the intensity of the Final Chase. It's just a different kettle of fish.
Usually people take to Twitter to complain about someone on the show, rather than praise anyone, but on this occasion the tables were turned.

Having watched her fellow contestants get tossed aside by Shaun Wallace aka the Dark Destroyer, Renee stood little chance of winning the final head-to-head battle.
Playing by herself for £5,000, she got 19 questions correct, a truly impressive haul given she was all alone.
When it came to turn of the Dark Destroyer it wasn't plain sailing. A few dodgy questions, followed by eight push backs from Renee, meant that he could only get within nine questions of his opponent.

"Well played, extraordinary performance," Bradley Walsh said, before the Dark Destroyer remarked: "I lost, fair play to you Renee."
The people of Twitter had a lot more to say...
People are questioning whether or not it was fixed, which it very well could have been.

But still, good entertainment, isn't it?
