Saved By The Bell's Kelly Kapowski Is Now 45 Years Old

For a person of a certain age, Kelly Kapowski was their first love.

The star of Saved by The Bell, Kelly was the most popular girl at Bayside High, and when she wasn't hanging out at The Max with her buddies - Screech, Jessie, and Lisa - she was at the centre of a love triangle, with smooth-talking Zack Morris and muscle-bound jock A.C. Slater both vying for her affection.

But that was 25 years ago, and Kelly - or Tiffani Thiessen as she's actually known - is married with kids and has just celebrated her 45th birthday.

The actress and mum-of-two announced the news on her Instagram page, on Tuesday.

Alongside a picture of herself was posted with the caption: "Pondering 45 #yikes. I can't wait to tell my kids I was born before the internet. #betterwithage?"

Well it would seem her followers certainly agree and the former Bayside pupil has been inundated with comments from fans and followers, wishing her a happy birthday and telling her how good she looks - which, she does.

One person wrote: "I'm 33, never realised u were that much older than I am.... though thinking back to when I watched you on Saved by the Bell it makes sense haha. Happy Birthday to one of my favourites always!!!!"

Another said: "You get more and more beautiful over the years."

Some fans just couldn't quite get their heads around the idea that she had aged.

One stunned follower wrote: "WAIT! U MEAN UR NOT 28?!?! I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING!!!! I THOUGHT U WERE!!! Well, Happy Birthday!!!!"

While another said: "I grew up watching you on saved by the bell and never until now realised y'all were older then I actually was. You don't look a day anywhere near 45!! Happy birthday."

In recent years Tiffani has gone on to host her own show on Cooking Channel called Dinner at Tiffani's and now stars as a mum in Netflix series, Alexa and Katie.

A third stunned fan said: "Hard to believe that Kelly Kapowski now plays the mom in a show I watch with my daughter. You look great!"
