This Infinity Gauntlet Meat Tenderiser Will Have You Pounding Meat Like A Superhero

This Infinity Gauntlet Meat Tenderiser Will Have You Pounding Meat Like A Superhero

There are many kitchen gadgets we buy that get used once - if they're lucky - before simply gathering dust and cluttering up valuable work surface space, then getting lobbed into the attic or sent off to the charity shop.

Remember that time everyone went out and bought spiralisers so they could replace their carbs with swirls of courgette or carrot? What about that ice cream maker? You bought that one year and enjoyed a summer of fairly average home-made ice cream.

However, not all kitchen accessories are created equal. Just take a look at this guy.

Nope, not the wooden spoon or the mug. Draw your attention to the Infinity Gauntlet Meat Tenderiser - a.k.a. the Marvel-themed gadget you never knew you needed, yet somehow now can't live without.

Made from a heavy duty, gold-tinted stainless steel, the product helps you smash red meat, pork, poultry and superheroes into oblivion like a true supervillain.

Thanos wiped out half the known universe with The Snap - but could he perfectly flatten a chicken breast? Not a chance.

Inside, there's an internal silicone grip for non-slip meat bashing, while the underside features spike-textured knuckles to ensure epic tenderising potential is unlocked.

"Just ask Thanos and he'll tell you a perfectly balanced meal requires a well-tenderised slab of meat," the product description on the Firebox website reads.

"Fun isn't something one considers when flattening a raw sirloin steak, but wielding the Infinity Gauntlet Meat Tenderiser is sure to put a smile on your face.

"You can't erase half the universe with a click of your fingers, but you can pound red meat, pork, poultry and superheroes into submission."

Measuring approximately 10cm(W) x 25cm(H) x 15cm(D), it's also dishwasher safe - because I'm afraid even Marvel superheroes and villains need to keep their stuff nice and clean - and has a handy hook so you can hang it up when you're done with your tenderising.

Oh, and it gets better. The gauntlet comes with a recipe book packed full of Marvel-themed dishes you could use your meat tenderiser for, including 'Stark Tartare', 'Endgame Pie', 'Pepper Chicken Potts Pie', 'Infinity Cutlet' and 'Hawkeye Steak'.

I fancy a nice cut of flat iron (man) steak myself... Though if you're using meat from your freezer stash, just don't forget to, erm, Thor it thoroughly before tenderising.

And it will only set you back £19.99 - a damn site cheaper than the cost of travelling round the galaxy to collect a load of Infinity Stones.
