Sex scene body-double actor reveals the huge stars she's replaced in Hollywood movies
When it comes to the huge stars of Hollywood, you might think you’d recognise them on the street without hesitation.
I mean, their faces end up being absolutely everywhere when a big film comes out. And when that movie features some sex or nude scenes, you might at first think you’re getting a right eyeful of the celebrity.
But a body-double has revealed the huge stars she’s replaced – always with the original actor’s approval.

Laura Grady told Vulture that when she’s called upon to step in, it’s not that the actors ‘don’t have great bodies’.
"But sometimes they don’t have time to do a B-camera roll or something like that. It’s not always that the actress isn’t comfortable," she explained.
The dancer, model and actress has quite the list of credits as a body double and went through some of her most notable moments.
Back in 1998, Grady appeared in Slums of Beverly Hills as Marisa Tomei’s body double – who described as ‘maybe the nicest lady ever’.
That was just a ‘little bit of nudity’ for a scene trying on bras and appearing out of a shower – ‘easy’ and ‘fun’ work apparently.
For her ‘favourite by far’ gig, the woman was a body-double for Helena Bonham Carter in Fight Club.
Grady said she basically spent ‘two weeks of just these scenes in bed’ because there was so much work.
“There was also a body double for Brad Pitt, so we spent two weeks with David Fincher on a set and green-screen, just reenacting all of those sex scenes,” she explained.
“I did see Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter throughout the day, but they were never in my scenes — the body doubles did their thing, and then Brad and Helena did their thing.
"So I never got to interact with Brad, unfortunately."
Grady also described one of the Fight Club scenes as the ‘most intricate sex scene’ she’s ever done ‘and it was pretty hard-core’.
She’s also been a body-double for Piper Perabo in Coyote Ugly to do a sex scene with Adam Garcia, as well as with Lou Diamond Phillips as she replaced Robin Tunney in Supernova.
Other stars she’s been a body double for include Patricia Arquette in Human Nature, Jessica Boehrs in EuroTrip and Robin Wright in State of Play.
Her ‘most fun moment on set’ though came when she was Amy Smart’s body double in Crank.
That booking saw her working with Jason Statham who made her feel ‘so comfortable’.
Having to be completely topless for a crazy scene outside, she remembers thinking: “This is not a bad day. I’m taking my clothes off for Jason Statham. I’ll be okay today.”
Well, fair enough.
