Swinging 'Informer' reveals most extreme thing that caused him to 'cease to be shocked' by sex

They're no longer shocked, but there are some things they won't do

An 'informer' who knows all about the swinging lifestyle said their own sexual boundaries had changed so much since getting into it, and revealed some of the things they considered extreme.

Speaking to Vice anonymously, they explained some of the darker sides of swinging that all those couples on the internet recommending it might not mention.

Warning that the swinging lifestyle 'can be open to coercive and abusive relationships' and there was 'pressure to perform', they still said that a lot of what was going on was 'people having a great time expressing themselves'.

The informer said that lots of people were 'sexually open' and swinging was a way for them to explore this aspect of themselves, but added that they'd witnessed so many things themselves it had rather dulled their sense of shock.

Some of the things they'd done included participating in a '50 person orgy' which involved 'around 30 people on mattresses' and 'probably another 20 people around the edge', but there's things they still reckon are 'extreme'.

'I have ceased to be shocked by pretty much any sexual behaviour'

While they're an experienced participant in the swinging lifestyle they have recognised the impact it had on them.

"I think since being in the lifestyle my sexual boundaries have shifted quite a lot," they explained.

"I have kind of ceased to be shocked by pretty much any sexual behaviour."

Even if they're not shocked by pretty much anything at this point they've still got things they definitely don't want to be doing.

'To me that's pretty extreme'

"I have friends who are into p**s play, I have friends who you know are into urethral sounding and medical stuff," the informer revealed.

"Urethral sounding is taking a rod and inserting it inside the penis. To me that's pretty extreme but, like, they're living their best life.

"I think it's really hard to balance like emotional and physical boundaries with the lifestyle."

So they would do many things for love, or swinging sex at least, but when it comes to rods inserted in the penis they won't do that.

'So driven and obsessed by new sex and new ways to have sex'

Speaking about the impact swinging can have on your sex life, the informer suggested that a couple getting into the lifestyle 'can be end up being so driven and obsessed by new sex and and new ways to have sex' that it can mess with the emotions in the relationship.

They said that in addition to pursuing the heady heights of 'new ways to have sex' swinging couples could also get hooked on 'new people to have sex with'.

On the downside this ran the risk of losing 'touch of the emotion that you two have together'.
