Ever wondered what Kevin McCallister would be doing for Christmas this year?
Well, fighting off the Wet Bandits once again is this fan made trailer is anything to go off.
Originally released in 1990, Home Alone saw eight-year-old Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) courageously defend his house against a pair of burglars known as the Wet Bandits, after he failed to make it on his family's Christmas vacation to Paris.
After managing to apprehend burglars Harry and Marv, Kevin is able to reunite with his family for Christmas Day.

The film was an instant hit and one I'm sure you've watched a countless number of times growing up, prompting filmmakers to have Kevin, Harry and Marv do the whole thing over again - this time in New York - in a sequel released two years later.

Over three decades on from Home Alone and Home Alone 2 being released and demand to see more from the McCallister family remains to this day - subsequent sequels without Culkin failed to win over viewers - with fans instead regularly coming up with their own adventures for a now grown up Kevin.
And this year doesn't disappoint, as one person has already released a trailer revealing their ideal Home Alone 3, which you can watch below:
In classic Home Alone style, Harry and Marv are back out of jail and living a life of crime.

And because it's a movie, there's only one house they're after.
The trailer begins with an AI generated suburban US street, which is, of course, blanketed in snow, before cutting to a grown up Kevin preparing to celebrate the holidays at home.
"For years I've lived a quiet life," a robotic recreation of his voice says, "No chaos, no traps, no running through the snow barefoot."
'Kevin' then begins to list his ideal Christmas before we get our first look at the Wet Bandits (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) vowing revenge.
From this point, the trailer goes a little left field, as Kevin's house appears to explode at one point, while another scene sees the bandits running down the street towards some fireworks.

We then cut to another shot of Kevin enjoying a cup of coffee, this time in the snow, before it cuts to the famous Home Alone logo.
While the fan made trailer is pretty thin on the ground when it comes to story or why the Wet Bandits are still determined to target Kevin, the trailer's popularity online does prove that appetite for further Home Alone adventures (as long as they're starring Culkin) does exist.
"I love this idea and they all look great," replied one person in the comments, while a second added: "After all these years I can't wait for another Home Alone with Macaulay."

Which, given the fact that Culkin himself has hinted about a return to acting, could be a possibility in the future.
