Sir Michael Caine had a hilarious retort up his sleeve when someone tried to slate one of his film roles.
The London-born legend, 92, has appeared in well over 100 films throughout his illustrious career, so it's inevitable that some people have found faults with a few.
He has previously revealed the title of what he believes is 'one of the worst pictures' he ever starred in - and it turns out a random bloke held the same opinion.
The mystery critic strolled up to the actor and informed him that he thought a 1987 movie he appeared in 'stinks'...and Caine had a seriously comical comeback.

He shared the details of the amusing exchange when he sat down with Andrew Denton on Channel 7’s Interview back in 2019.
Caine was asked about how it felt when he earned enough cash to finally purchase his beloved mother, Ellen, a sprawling home, which he has described as one of his proudest moments.

He previously spoke about the powerful impact that the matriarch of the Caine family, who passed away in 1989, had on him throughout his life. The Italian Job star's father, Maurice, went off to war when he was seven, leaving him and his three-year-old brother in Ellen's sole care.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs back in 2009, Caine recalled: "My mother said something which defined the two of us for the rest of our lives. She said, 'Your father has gone now. You two have got to look after me'. We became little men, and we have been like that ever since."

He laughed as he told how his mother was hesitant to give up her job as a cleaner even when he had found success on the big screen and he became 'wealthy', as he added: "I said, ‘You’re cleaning? Do you know what the press will do if they get hold of this?’ I had to show her it was detrimental to me, to get her to stop."
As you can tell, the actor is a man who would do anything for his mother, so he was over the moon when he was able to buy his mum her first home.

"That was incredible for me, for my mother to have a house, because we always grew up in council houses," he said during his appearance on Interview.
And it turns out that the pay cheque he received for his 'little part' in Jaws: The Revenge allowed him to afford it.

Caine previously described the fourth film in the shark-focused franchise, in which he played charter plane pilot Hoagie Newcombe, as 'by all accounts, terrible'.
While chatting to Denton, he explained that he had received similar comments from some people who had sat down to watch it.
"One of the worst pictures I did was a picture...I think it was called Jaws: The Revenge," Caine told the Australian TV star. "I had a little part in that, and I was paid a million dollars for two weeks' work.
"And with that money, I bought [my mother] the house. Someone said to me, 'I saw that Jaws 4 - it stinks'. I said, 'I haven't seen it...but I've seen the house it bought my mother, and it's marvellous."

A mic-drop moment, if ever there was one, don't you think?
Social media users seemed to think so, as after watching the resurfaced footage of Caine on Interview, one person wrote: "One of the coldest and most honest lines in Hollywood history."
Another added: "Got to love his response, so many actors take their bad movies too seriously. It's not like it's bad, because of them. We all do things just for the money, might as well be open about it lol."
A third said: "As bad as it was, you can safely say it would have been much worse without Michael Caine."
Jaws: The Revenge grossed the lowest amount out of all the films in the franchise and barely broke even - so to be fair to the unidentified amateur critic, he wasn't the only one who thought the film 'stunk'.
