Pixar have dropped the first teaser trailer for Toy Story 5, which is set to be released in theatres on 19 June, 2026.
The short 49-second clip was uploaded to social media platforms today (11 November), teasing the latest nemesis for Woody, Buzz, and the gang.
Apparently, the toys will be competing for Bonnie's attention against an electronic game table called Lilypad.
In the teaser, we can see a package coming in for her, as she gets unboxed to the terror of a number of original toys such as Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack) and Forky (Tony Hale).

There are several questions flying around at the early stages, such as the fact that Woody is still with the group despite staying in the wild with Bo Peep at the end of Toy Story 4.
Here is the full teaser trailer if you haven't seen it already:
As well as a number of the original cast reprising their roles from previous films, Greta Lee will be voicing Lilypad and Conan O'Brien is set to join the voice cast as the toilet training tech toy Smarty Pants.
The film is set to be directed by Andrew Stanton, who is responsible for writing the screenplay for the original Toy Story film, and who also won Animated Feature Oscars for directing both Finding Nemo and Wall-E.
Co-director Kenna Harris said in a press release: “It’s been a hilarious and poignant journey exploring how our favorite team of legacy toys might respond to today’s world of technology, and we’re thrilled to share this first glimpse with audiences,
“Having the remarkably talented Greta Lee bring Lilypad to life - balancing a playfully antagonistic tone with humour and heart - has been incredible.”
Fans took to social media to share what they thought of the new teaser.
One Toy Story fan said: "Look at Woody just sliding back in."

As another wrote: "Toy Story 5 before GTA 6 is wild!"
A third fan added: "At least Woody is reuniting with the gang for this movie."
And a fourth chimed in, saying: "What a clever antagonist, while I’d say there’s no reason for a sequel this idea of toys vs tech Intrigues me enough to watch!"
While the plot is still a mystery, Allen, who plays Lightyear, teased earlier this year that 'it's a lot about Jessie' in an interview with WIVB.
“Tom (Hanks) and I do - Woody and I - do realign. And there’s an unbelievable opening scene with Buzz Lightyears. I can give you that, but I can’t give you much more,” the actor said.
