First trailer released for Cocaine Shark movie and it's just as ridiculous as it sounds

The synopsis is utterly outrageous and people are already calling for it to be given 'ALL the Oscars right now'.

A trailer has been released for an upcoming B-grade movie called Cocaine Shark and it's...it's just....just watch the clip.

With the world being captivated by Cocaine Bear, it seems like there's enough room in Hollywood for two drug-fuelled animals.

But, instead of a bear wreaking havoc on a bunch of people in a forest, this story takes place in the city and has a very different origin.

The synopsis says: "A mafia drug lord has unleashed a new, highly addictive stimulant on the streets called HT25, derived from sharks held captive in a secret lab, and which causes monstrous side effects.

"After an explosion and leak at the lab, an army of mutated, bloodthirsty sharks and other creatures are set loose on the world.”

Sounds pretty good, right?

Well, the special effects budget must have a been a bit smaller than Cocaine Bear because the monsters in this film are hilariously ridiculous.

You're getting sharks with multiple limbs, overacting from the characters and a hell of a lot of fun.

People who have seen the trailer agree this movie should not be missed.

One said: "Give this thing ALL the Oscars right now."

Another added: "OH. MY. GOD. COUNT US ALL IN ON THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

A third wrote: "This is much better than the last Star Wars trilogy."

Wide Eye Releasing

Cocaine Shark is being spearheaded by B-grade movie production company Wide Eye Releasing.

The idea for the plot came after New Zealand authorities seized loads of cocaine in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that was headed for Australia.

People on social media started suggesting someone in Hollywood combine this with the fiercest predator in the ocean and you should have a blockbuster movie on your hands.

Hell, even Elizabeth Banks, who directed Cocaine Bear, thought it was brilliant.

She told PEOPLE: "I've seen that. If there's a great story, then sure. Jaws with cocaine? I don't see how that loses."

Cocaine Shark drops on digital and DVD on July 7, so there's not too long to wait before you feast your eyes and ears on this masterpiece.

But, if Cocaine Bear and Cocaine Shark aren't enough for you, fear not.

A movie titled Attack of the Meth Gator is set for release soon and it sounds just as promising.

It's very loosely based off a true story centred in Florida (where else?) and it's being headed up by The Asylum, who have mostly notably produced the classic Sharknado franchise.
