Speculation around what the new GTA 6 map could look like has been taken to the next level, as one fan has come up with a rather mind-blowing concept.

Ever since Rockstar Games announced in February last year that 'that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway', fans have been desperate to see what the new map has in store.

GTA 5 saw the release of Los Santos, a huge virtual playground that gamers have been enjoying since its reveal in 2013.

But over a decade later, fans think they deserve a little upgrade to their much-loved action-adventure game.

Gamers have heard very little about the new map from Rockstar Games so it's not usual for them to speculate what new concepts for the highly-anticipated game might look like.

One fan has taken to Reddit to post something that has generated a lot of excitement.

Gamers have often pondered the thought of having one open world which combines all of the major cities, such as Vice City, Los Santos, and Liberty City.

And although on paper, the idea sounds incredible, the likelihood of Rockstar ever creating a map that big is pretty unlikely.

One fan shared this concept map on Reddit, and users have been making extremely good points about flying vehicles.

One said: "It would give planes a lot more purpose."

Another wrote: "Yes please. I love flying."

While a third penned: "Still can’t believe there hasn’t been a map expansion. I’d be happy paying for it."

We have heard very little about the new game, apart from a leak in 2022 which prompted Rockstar to release a statement.

It said: “We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorised third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto.

"We are extremely disappointed to have any details of our next game shared with you all in this way.

“We will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it's ready.

“We want to thank everyone for their ongoing support through this situation."

Although we still haven’t got an official release date for GTA 6, predictions have speculated that it may be released sometime in 2025, meaning gamers might not have too long left to wait.
