As we've got a bit of time to waste until the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, gamers are back to doing what they do best - finding 'leaks' and speculating.
Since the GTA 6 delay has pushed the game back into next year, it's only natural that fans are starting to get a little impatient and look for every little morsel of information about the game.
From trying to work out the game's ending, to understanding what to expect from its mechanics, many are keen to get as much information on Rockstar's latest GTA game ahead of its May 2026 release date.

Thankfully, credible 'leaker' GameRoll has come to the rescue with an alleged leak, which - if true - could mean GTA 6 is a much bigger, and more ambitious project than we previously thought.
In a post on X, he claims that the information came from a 'friend of a Rockstar developer'.

Of course, while GameRoll does state that they trust the source, as is the case with any leak, it has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
What the 'leak' tells us about GTA 6
Map
The alleged leak suggests that the game will feature an impressive 700+ enterable stores, which are all fully functional.

It even goes as far as to claim that there will be skyscrapers with enterable lifts.
Characters
If the leak is correct, not only will the character switch from GTA 5 be making a return, it could also feature three modes:
- Play as Lucia
- Play as Jason
- Play as both
Gameplay
There are several environmental details which appear to have been 'leaked' too. If correct, NPCs will react to you having your weapon out, a gore and dismemberment system has been built off of Red Dead Redemption 2, and there could even be a relationship bar, much like the honour bar you see in RDR2.

One of the most interesting mechanics listed is the alleged inclusion of a 'Dead Eye' ability, again, much like you get in RDR2.
According to the leak, Jason will have the ability to slow down time, and even see weak spots. And while Lucia will apparently do the same, it's alleged that she only gets one shot.

The source claims that this is an attempt to show off Jason's weapon prowess, thanks to his time in the military. They also claim it's 'super bad' and hope it gets changed before the game is released.
GameRoll refused to leak information about the story and mission. Good man! However, he did go on to share some of the content that has apparently been cut from the game series.
Advert
If the leak is correct, we can expect to see no fully nude sex scenes. OK, going to stop there. It's GTA, of course there's going to be fully nude sex scenes, right?
Prone and dual-wielding have also allegedly been cut from the game, as has burglary mini-games.
But, the most devastating of them all, if true. There will apparently be no Disney World parody in the game, sorry Mickey, no high-speed car chases, guns and strippers for you, I'm afraid.
