Jeremy Clarkson gives hint of what he will be doing in season three of Clarkson's Farm

Jeremy Clarkson gives hint of what he will be doing in season three of Clarkson's Farm

Fans think they've sussed out what to expect from the former Top Gear star's next farming series.

Fans of Clarkson's Farm are eagerly awaiting the announcement of season three and, just weeks after the second season aired, they think they've got a clue as to what it might be about.

The speculation comes after Jeremy Clarkson himself seems to be posting an awful lot about one animal in particular.

The first season of Clarkson's Farm aired on Amazon Prime Video in 2021 and quickly developed a loyal following of audiences - young and old, far and wide.

Even those who weren't particularly fond of Clarkson and his past ways were swayed into loving the honestly raw and often comical depiction of farming in Britain. A programme that didn't have a very trendy premise was quickly absorbed by younger audiences turning a generation of TikTokers into agricultural enthusiasts from the comfort of their own home.

ln season one, we saw Clarkson get to grips with the world of farming, from buying his first tractor to sewing his first seeds and the heartache that comes with having to send your livestock to slaughter. Clarkson also showcased the trials and tribulations of managing an agricultural business during a global pandemic, driving sympathy from even the most indifferent of folk.

We were also introduced to Kaleb Cooper, the now-24-year-old farming contractor who's often there to save the day and give Clarkson an endearing bollocking when things inevitably go awry.

Season two (2023) saw the return of Clarkson and his trusty sidekick, Cooper on their mission to grow the farm in population - both with visitors to their farm restaurant and with the introduction of cows and chickens to their portfolio of farm animals.

But now, fans are theorising that there's only one farmyard creature left to add to the mix and, according to Clarkson's recent tweets, the new residents might already be settling in nicely in time for filming of season three.

Fans think that pigs will be the topic of season three.

The suggestion comes after Clarkson replied to a fan who mentioned he was at the farm shop on Twitter, writing: "In the queue know Jezza, show’s F**king awesome btw."

Clarkson responded: "I’m sorry it’s so long. I’d come over if I wasn’t feeding the pigs. And if I didn’t have such a massive hangover."

Fans were quick to add to the thread, asking Clarkson if they could expect to see pigs as a welcome addition to season three. One even quipped: "Will you end up with a pet pig as well? or are they just too tasty in the morning?" making a connection with the cow who was rescued from slaughter at the end of season two (sorry, spoiler!)

Clarkson is yet to confirm or deny a piggy appearance in season three, but his Instagram posts are definitely alluding to it as he shared a post at the start of the year with a piglet in hand, captioned: 'An piglet. Our first.'
