Eagle-eyed farmers have noticed a 'mistake' Kaleb Cooper keeps making on Diddly Squat.

Hit show Clarkson's Farm follows car enthusiast Jeremy Clarkson, 62, who attempts to run a thousand acre farm all with having no idea with what he's doing.

The huge success of the Amazon Prime show has given young farmer, Kaleb, a meteoric rise to fame.

Clarkson's right hand man says he regularly clocks 117-hour weeks on the farm.

"That's an average week," he said.

"My one goal in life is to buy myself a farm - that's what I want more than anything.

"I'm a firm believer, if you wake up in the morning and go, 'Urghhh, got to work,' you're in the wrong job straightaway.

"I wake up and I go, 'Right, dreams don't work unless you do.' You know, that's one thing that's in my head all the time."

Despite transitioning into a hugely popular figure, some viewers have spotted a possible mistake Kaleb keeps making on the farm.

Nothing too major, but cattle farmers have criticised the way he puts ear tags on the cows.

It happens to be a legal requirement to attach two ear tags to each ear of every calf when they are born - to help identify each animal in the event of an outbreak of disease, for example.

The reason why there is two is because if one is tipped off, at least there's a spare one.

Clarkson and Kaleb enjoy a bit of banter, but there's a lot of respect too.

Writing on a farming forum, one person said: "Like many I am really enjoying Jeremy Clarkson’s new series and taking my time to make it last lol.

"However am I the only one noticing #kalebcooper putting the calves ear tags in the wrong way round."

“Not [the] only one. I noticed that too," another added.

A third person also wrote: “I said to the other half he put the tags in backwards.”

Although, others argued that there's 'no right and wrong way' to attach ear tags.

Some farmers even said by doing it the 'wrong' way around it's actually easier to see where you're attaching.

One person wrote: "At least they are in the ear, not missing or ripped. Some folks have too much time."

The Farming Advisory Service says: "When using plastic tags the female part should be on the inside/front of the ear with the male part entering from the back of the ear."

The second season of Clarkson's Farm is currently available to watch on Prime Video.
