Aussie Woman Gets Kmart Tattoo Because She's Addicted To Shopping

Whether you're a regular shopper or simply used to poring over the dozens of Facebook groups committed to finding the best deals, you'd be hard-pressed to find a person who doesn't love Kmart.

However, one woman has truly taken her dedication to the next level.

The Aussie woman - named Crystal - decided to get a tattoo of the megastore's logo on her leg.

She shared the images of her bizarre ink to a Facebook group called Kmart Hacks & Roasts, saying it was a tribute to her lifelong 'Kmart addiction'.

"So I know I'll get bombarded by Negative Nancys, but this happened today and no, I'm not regretting it and I won't regret it," Crystal said in the post.

"The story behind getting this tattoo... my Kmart addiction, which started back when I was little and would go with my nan shopping at Kmart and having lunch at [the cafe] once a week, good times," she continued.

"Still to this day I'm addicted [to] going to Kmart every chance I get."

"There's so many Kmart stories over my 35 years, so many memories behind this one tattoo..."

She added that it took her a year to work up the courage to go under the needle, adding that others were convinced that she 'would chicken out' when it finally came to the moment.

"It's done" she declared. "I'm not regretting it one bit."

The Aussie lady revealed that she's hoping to get a couple of finishing touches on the ink, adding: "I go back once this is healed to do any touch-ups needed and to add the 'addict' part."

"Others will look at me and go 'you bloody idiot why?!?' But I will continue to smile and say 'because I can'."

Comments on the post were mixed, however, many called for Kmart to sponsor the dedicated shopper, with one user writing: "If she doesn't get discounts from this she's missing out on a huge opportunity."

Speaking to Kidspot about the ink, Crystal elaborated on her decision for getting the tattoo.

"I was talking to my sister in law about it, and she said I should go ahead and get a Kmart one," Crystal said.

"It started off as a joke but then I knew it wasn't just about the Kmart logo. It's a part of who I am. And yes, I'm addicted to it."

Kmart needs to get this woman signed up with a loyalty card.
