A bouncer has refused to let Rihanna inside a club because she didn't have ID on her.

Wearing a pink dress and fluffy hat, the mega pop star was seen standing in line at the bar in New York City with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

When they got to the front of the queue, the bouncer clearly didn't like the idea the 'Work' singer didn't have ID on her. A$AP looked particularly irritated that despite the Barbadian singer being such a household name, the bouncer wouldn't let them in.

It's clear they eventually got let in somewhere, with pictures on TMZ posting photos of them inside SoHo's popular Barcade bar.

The pair only went public with their relationship recently and judging from the photos inside Barcade it looks like things are going very well.

There have been rumours the pair were dating ever since A$AP supported Rihanna on her Diamonds World Tour all the way back in 2013. She has appeared in A$AP's 2013 video for 'Fashion Killa' and the rapper also provided a verse for Rihanna's 2012 song 'Cockiness (I Love It)'.

Rihanna has kept her private life fairly private since the first rumours started, however confirmed in 2017 she was dating Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.

They eventually split in January 2020 and Rihanna and Rocky went on one of those great America road trips in the middle of the year during the pandemic and travelled from Los Angeles to New York City.

They were then seen hanging out together in Barbados around Christmas-time last year. While everyone is familiar with Rihanna's Barbados roots, many might not be aware that the country is also home to A$AP's dad.

Rocky explained how amazing it was getting to see his dad after a tough year.

During an interview with GQ, ASAP, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, described Rihanna as 'the love of my life', which was the first confirmation that the two were dating.

He added: "She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She's the one."

Rocky also sounds like he's ready to settle down with Rihanna if things keep getting serious.

He told GQ: "If that's in my destiny, absolutely. I think I'm already a dad! All these motherf**kers are already my sons-whatchu talkin' 'bout!.

"Nah, but like, I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very."
