Disney Announces Two New Star Wars Series In Same Timeline As The Mandalorian

Disney has surprised fans with not one but two new TV series that will take place in the same timeline as Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian.

Rosario Dawson will star in the spin-off series, which tells the story of Ahsoka Tano.

Ahsoka made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian where Mando tries to bring Baby Yoda aka The Child to the Jedi. The events occurred in the years just after The Return of the Jedi.

We'll also be getting Rangers of the New Republic, which is also set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian.

These are two of 10 new Star Wars projects that are being pumped out by Disney as it tries to grow the cinematic universe.

In addition to these legendary series, we'll also get to see Hayden Christensen return as Anakin Skywalker - later to become Darth Vader - in the upcoming series about Obi-Wan Kenobi.
