Tekashi 6ix9ine, or Snitch9ine if you're a clever boy is probably more famous for outing gang members in court rather than rapping, but what did he do to land himself in prison in the first place? How much is he worth? What's his real name? Let's take a look at the man with the multi-coloured hair and find out.
Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has pleaded guilty to a number of federal charges and has admitted he is part of a gang.
In a statement from United States Department of Justice, Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman explained the impact that Tekashi and other gang members had made on the city.
He said: "As alleged in the indictment, this gang, which included platinum-selling rap artist Tekashi 6ix9ine, wreaked havoc on New York City, engaging in brazen acts of violence.
"Showing reckless indifference to others' safety, members of the gang were allegedly involved in robberies and shootings, including a shooting inside the crowded Barclays Center, and a shooting in which an innocent bystander was hit."
HSI Special Agent in Charge Angel M. Melendez said: "Members of Nine Trey, who wielded firearms and pushed highly addictive drugs onto New York City streets, allegedly showed an unprecedented level of violence this year, and for that they are now facing multiple charges, including an incident in which an innocent bystander was shot."
The rapper could face a mandatory minimum 47 years in prison - however, he has made a plea deal to receive a much lower sentence.
He took no time to give evidence against accused members of the Nine Trey Bloods gang.
Hernandez testified against former alleged gang-members Anthony 'Harv' Ellison and Aljermiah 'Nuke' Mack, who are accused of racketeering and while there he also said, while under oath, that rappers Cardi B and Jim Jones were members of notorious Bloods gang - something which Cardi B has since denied.
He's now finished testifying, but it appears though plenty of rappers have turned on him.
Rapper and Power star Curtis Jackon - better known as 50 Cent - shared a meme in which a court sketch of Hernandaz has the words: "Judge: Is that all? 6ix9ine: ... and Tommy Killed Angela Valdez." on his Instagram account. Snoop Dogg also got in on the action.
Unsurprisingly, his parents didn't name him Tekashi 69. His real name is Daniel Hernandez.
He lived in a crowded two-bedroom apartment in Locust Avenue, in Brooklyn, New York. Before his track, GUMMY went viral, he worked at the counter at the Stay Fresh Grill and Deli and spent his spare time picking fights on Instagram.
