Lewis Capaldi joked that he looks like he's been 'smuggling quite a few budgies' after some racy photos of him were leaked by Michael McIntyre.

The singer was the latest victim of McIntyre's game 'Send To All' on his BBC show Michael McIntyre's Big Show, and the results were... interesting.

If you're unfamiliar with Send To All, the game involves McIntyre taking one of his celebrity guest's phones and sending a funny text to all of their contacts.

This weekend, it was Lewis Capaldi who's phone was under fire, but before McIntyre got to the texting, he had a little scroll through the 'Someone You Loved' singer's photos.

While McIntyre had a flick through Capaldi's pics in front of a full studio audience - and the thousands of viewers watching from home - Capaldi watched helplessly from a balcony seat at London's Drury Lane Theatre.

A few of the photos that McIntyre uncovered caught Lewis posing in his underwear in the mirror.

When the first picture of Capaldi in his pants went up on the big screen, the theatre erupted into fits of laughter.

And while that reaction would probably have shattered most people's confidence, Capaldi took it like a champ.

"I'm smuggling quite a few budgies there, if you will," he laughed.

Lewis took the whole thing like a champ.

When McIntyre flicked to yet another picture of Capaldi posing in the nip, he asked: "Why are you taking these photos?"

Capaldi casually replied: "Erm, just for, like, personal use."

Other photos in his camera roll included selfies with Niall Horan and Ed Sheeran and a snap of him lying in bed with his Official Charts trophy.

Viewers at home piled on the praise for Capaldi after watching him go through the torturous ordeal.

"Lewis Capaldi's, a good sport, proper down-to-earth fella 'n all! Guy seems a right laugh!" tweeted one fan.

While a second wrote: "Lewis Capaldi should have been a comedian. He’s hilarious."

"Lewis Capaldi on Send to All is the absolute chaos I need on my Saturday night," commented a third.

Lewis showed it all off on Michael McIntyre's show.

Capaldi also made headlines earlier this week when he stopped a concert for a racy exchange with a fan.

The Scottish singer was playing in Birmingham when he spotted a fan holding up a sign offering to, erm, 'suck him off'.

Stopping mid-performance, Capaldi let out a 'woah', before pointing out the phone and telling the crowd: "I don’t know if the camera can pick this up because I feel dirty reading this out.

"I mean, this really isn’t the time or the place… and I’ve already been sucked off today thank you very much.”

He then turned to his band and said: “Isn’t that right guys? Big hand for Aiden.”

The star eventually handed the fan’s phone back after ‘thanking her for the offer’.

After Capaldi's racy pics went out on national telly last night, I'm sure he's in for plenty more risqué offers.
