Logan Paul fans baffled at ‘terrible’ Photoshop as he announces new WWE contract

Logan Paul fans baffled at ‘terrible’ Photoshop as he announces new WWE contract

He's now signed a new contract after his last expired following Wrestlemania 39 earlier this month

Logan Paul fans have been left baffled after spotting a ‘terrible’ Photoshop job as he announced his new WWE contract.

Paul’s previous contract expired earlier this month after his Wrestlemania match against Seth Rollins on 1 April.

However, at the time, he seemed pretty confident that he’d be offered a new deal.

Ahead of the event, he told Helwani: “I was contracted for a year to do two WrestleManias and, I think, five events … My life moves so fast and I don’t know what my stock will be in a year, and so it seems a little irresponsible to sign anything longer than year-long contracts.

“Like, I don’t know, what’s gonna happen in a year. Last year, at this time, I had no idea I was gonna be a full-time, or even like, almost full-time wrestler, as like a staple of my career. And now I am.

“So yeah, I don’t know. Hey, I mean, let’s be honest, brother, they’re gonna f**king renew my contract.”

And it turns out his confidence was justified, as he’s now signed a new contract with the wrestling promotion.

Tweeting a photo of him posing alongside Triple H, he wrote: “Contract renewed @WWE.”

Triple H added: “A proven Superstar on the biggest stage. Can’t wait to see what’s next for @LoganPaul.”

While many congratulated Paul for his news, saying they couldn’t wait to see him ‘in the ring again’, many others noticed something was up with the photo.

Posting a snap from his last signing with WWE in June 2022, in which he posed alongside Triple H and Stephanie McMahon while wearing a blue jacket, on person tweeted: “That’s the SAME pic!”

"Isn’t this the old picture but instead you edited Stephanie out and made your jacket yellow (also the blue raspberry prime is yellow),” another also asked on Instagram.

A third wrote: “Lol yeah it’s a terrible edit.”

Someone else added: "Fair play to whoever photoshopped this blue jacket into yellow."

Paul later responded to the Photoshop claims, joking: “Some people are saying I photoshopped my new contract from the first time I signed with the WWE. That is untrue. As you can see, my jacket is a different color, Stephanie McMahon is no where to be found, and Prime is a different flavor.”

Fans realised they'd seen the photo before.

My dude, you have been royally rumbled.

Speaking to ESPN after the new deal was announced, Paul said: “The idea with this multiyear contract was to get really creative around the story that we’re telling as my professional wrestling career unfolds. Being the hyperambitious person that I am, I’m going for a belt.

“I wouldn’t have signed this contract if I didn’t think that I was capable of getting a WWE belt. I think it’d be the coolest thing ever.

"I’d love to have it on my résumé, and I’d love to show every kid around the world who watches WWE that you can achieve anything.”
