Man recreates iconic video of naughty kid who said he wants to uppercut Santa

Jackson threatened to punch Santa's beard off if he didn't make the good list

Heartfelt adverts, festive films, and the kid who wants to give Santa an uppercut. Christmas viewing has arrived.

December is officially upon us, and with it comes all the things that make the season a festive one. We're talking Mariah Carey blasting over supermarket speakers, and pigs in blankets-themed everything.

But would it really be Christmas without the resurfacing of four-year-old Jackson threatening violence after learning he'd been put on Santa's naughty list?

Admittedly that's probably not the best way to get on the big man's good side, but Jackson didn't care as he argued that Father Christmas was 'not being very nice' to him and declared plans to 'punch his beard off' if he couldn't be on the good list.

Like Michael Bublé, the video of Jackson defrosts once a year in time for the festive season. This year, however, fans of the clip were treated to a new version courtesy of Sam Cornforth, a self-described 'Welsh Man-Child' who is fuelled by 'porridge' and takes 'making stupid content probably too seriously'.

Cornforth's dedication to his content paid off in his latest creation as he managed to perfectly recreate Jackson's video, mouthing along with the little boy's arguments and mimicking his movements to a tee.

The creator was dressed in a blue jumper and white shirt just like Jackson in the video, only Cornforth is a good few years older, with a moustache to prove it.

He shared the recreation on both TikTok and Instagram, admitting it took him 'hours to nail'. I don't even want to know how many rewatches, practises and mistakes went into making the final product, but it was all 100 percent worth it as the video took the internet by storm.

One fan praised Cornforth for his 'outstanding' attention to detail, pointing out that he'd even gone as far as to pixilate his jumper as was done in the original to cover a school logo.

"I’m only here for the pixilated school jumper! Attention to detail is outstanding," they wrote, while other viewers described the video as 'amazing', 'iconic' and 'brilliant'.

One viewer even responded to reveal their husband had questioned whether Cornforth was 'the actual kid all grown up' but the creator assured them 'Jackson hasn’t aged THAT badly in 4 years'.

I'd say Cornforth's recreation has given Jackson's clip a new lease of life, but who are we kidding; hearing a four-year-old threaten to hit Father Christmas with an uppercut will never get old.
