Mike Tyson says Brad Pitt was afraid of him after he caught him with his ex-wife

Mike Tyson says Brad Pitt was afraid of him after he caught him with his ex-wife

Mike Tyson claims he found his ex-wife with Brad Pitt as their divorce was being filed

Mike Tyson has claimed he found his ex-wife in bed with Brad Pitt, and even said the Hollywood A-lister was 'afraid' of him.

Actor Robin Givens and boxing legend Mike Tyson began dating in 1987 before getting married a year later on 7 February, 1988.

But things soon got extremely messy, with the pair both flinging various accusations around before Givens filed for divorce, stating 'fears for her safety' due to 'continued violence' according to her attorney.

Tyson sought an annulment and the split was finalised in 1989.

But another scandal surrounding the pair's relationship? Tyson reportedly walking in one none other than actor Brad Pitt with his ex-wife.

Tyson opened up about the alleged run-in during an appearance on In Depth with Graham Bensinger, revealing he was 'mad as hell' when he supposedly caught Pitt with his ex-wife.

"I was going to…you should have seen his face when he saw me. I was due a divorce but every day I would go to her house to have sex with her.

"This particular day, someone beat me to the punch. I guess Brad Pitt got there earlier than I did," he said.

In an interview with Sway Calloway for Shade 45 on Sirius XM, Tyson continued: "You should've saw his face when he saw me.

"He looked like he must've been a little high, because I know about high. He wasn't the Brad now with the reputation he's upholding. He was like a beach bum, a little nerdy."

The account is echoed in an extract of Tyson's 2013 memoir, Undisputed Truth, in which the former professional boxer claims Pitt begged him not to 'strike' him.

"You had to see the look on his face. He looked like he was ready to receive his last rites. He also looked stoned out of his gourd," the passage continues.

However, Tyson also told Calloway it wasn't just Pitt who was scared, but he actually was too despite being known as 'The Baddest Man on the Planet'.

"I was scared too because this was pre-Matrix. That Brazilian karate s**t - trying to run but coming back," Tyson reveals. "I thought I better back up from that little white motherf***er."

Givens responded to Tyson's claims on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, noting while she hadn't read the boxer's book, some of the allegations she heard about in relation to the run-in weren't true.

The actor denied she was caught in bed with Pitt and said Pitt didn't beg Tyson not to hit him either, but confirmed Tyson spotted her sat in a car with Pitt in her driveway.

Givens also denied ever being unfaithful to Tyson.
