After nearly a decade, Stranger Things has finally come to an end, but one of the stars missed the viewing party.
Millie Bobby Brown played the role of Eleven in the epic show, and many people expected her to be at the finale party with her Stranger Things co-stars at the Paris Theatre in New York City.
The final episode of the last series dropped this week for the rest of us, but the cast gathered on Friday, December 26 for a little festive viewing as the show came to an end (don't worry, no spoilers here though.)
The cast has been hit with controversy over the years, with recent rumours of tension between Millie and co-star David Harbour, who has also been making headlines thanks to the breakdown of his marriage to Lily Allen.

It was Millie's absence that raised concerns though, having the lead role in the show since she was a young girl.
Now 21, the star recently adopted a baby girl with her husband, Jake Bongiovi.
A source claims she skipped the party and was 'still home' recovering from a dislocated shoulder.
The source says Millie 'got a link to watch it at the same time' as the rest of her co-stars, so she didn't fully miss out on seeing her hard work come to fruition.
She also missed an event at New York's Paley Museum, three days later, and a spokesperson for the venue said she was missing due to a 'recent injury'.
She revealed the injury earlier this month when she had to explain why she wasn't on Good Morning America to promote the show.
Millie sent a video in apologising to GMA viewers, and to co-star Noah Schnapp who was present in the studio.
She explained: "Hey, everyone at GMA, I’m really sorry I couldn't be there with you guys, I took a fall,” she revealed, while showing a black sling on her arm.

“But I wanted to still participate in any way I could because, you know, Noah, I have to make it about me,” she joked, before asking her 'best friend' Noah a festive question.
"Ah Mil, I wish she was here," replied Noah, who plays Will Byers in the show, and he is also godfather to Millie's daughter.
Speaking about the final and the plans to all gather together to view it, Noah confessed: “I’m nervous to watch it. Once you watch that, it’s done. That’s the last episode we’re ever gonna watch together.
"That's gonna be... it was so emotional reading it, can you imagine what it's going to be like with the music and the editing and the... that'll definitely ruin my year maybe," he joked.
"But then it's almost like I can finally breathe. And the fans, too. They're so nervous and scared to say goodbye. But then once you get that closure, it's like, the book is closed."
In 2023, Millie told Seventeen Magazine that she is 'ready to say goodbye' to the show.
“I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up," she explained.
“I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture. But I’m really grateful [for the show].”
