People Are Saying Machine Gun Kelly Is Actually Stan

A series of recently unearthed tweets show MGK used to be a huge fan of Eminem

As you're probably already aware, Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly - or Richard Colson Baker as his mum calls him - have been embroiled in a bit of a spat lately.

And when I say 'bit of a spat', I mean an ongoing war of words, which has culminated in two diss tracks - and just about every single person has jumped into have their say.

Whether you're on the side of the Rap God or Rap Devil in all of this, there's one thing we can all agree on: it wasn't always this way.

Twitter

In the past MGK has heaped praise on Slim Shady. A lot of praise. A LOT. In recently unearthed (and since deleted) tweets the rapper seemingly couldn't get enough of Em.

In fact, he's been so gushing in the past that some folk on Twitter reckon MGK is the original Stan - you remember Stan, from Eminem's song... 'Stan'?

The crazed fan who became so obsessed with the fan that he ended up killing himself and his pregnant girlfriend when the rapper didn't reply to his letters? Well, him.

I mean, MGK actually admitted himself back in 2013:

So, maybe the real reason that MGK is so angry with Eminem is actually because he never replied to his letters - or in this case, tweets - in which he really cried out for some attention from the rapper. And now, his feelings hurt, he's decided to put it all into a diss track.

Some have even commented that by deleting all the old tweets, posted in happier times, MGK is making himself look like a pissed-off fan - or, to put it another way, 'I ripped all of your pictures off the wall!'

Twitter

Pretty intense for someone who claims to hate Eminem's guts, right?

But if this is all a desperate cry for attention from MGK, then we have to admit it's worked. After all, Eminem did go through all the effort of writing and releasing 'Killshot', which contains such lyrics as: "How you gonna name yourself after a damn gun, and have a man bun" and "Your reply got the crowd yellin' 'Oo' so before you die let's see who can out-petty who with your corny lines. I'm 45 and I'm still out-selling you."

Oof.
