The woman featured on the truly iconic cover of Blink-182's Enema of the State album looks incredibly different nowadays.
Even if you’re not a huge fan of the American rock band, you’re likely to recognise the image used for the 1999 release.
Their third album, it was the first one with Travis Barker as a part of Blink-182, and it has sold over 15 million copies worldwide and is slated as being responsible for them reaching global fame. Arguably their most popular album, it features hits like ‘What’s My Age Again?’ and ‘All the Small Things’.
But its cover photo is all a part of that absolute iconic-ness, featuring an adult star clad in a nurse uniform to double-down on the title’s pun on ‘enemy of the state’.

It’s adult film star Janine Lindemulder on the front, kitted out with a red bra and blue latex glove with striking matching makeup to complete alongside a glimpse of her butterfly tattoos.
On the back of the album, band members Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge can be seen standing before her in their boxers.
And well over two decades since Enema of the State was released, Lindemulder looks pretty different. Changing her hair colour to a much darker shade and really racking up the tattoos, she’s also embarked on a slightly new career path.
Now in her 50s, she initially worked as a stripper after graduating from high school before going on to model and perform in adult films.
But in 1999, she announced that she was leaving the industry to pursue a career as a kindergarten teacher as well as to focus more on raising her son.
And despite that, she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2002 before coming out of retirement in 2004 to make several films with different studios.

In 2017, Lindemulder switched up her career to include an OnlyFans page, offering both ‘free’ and ‘VIP’ services.
It was previously reported that a subscription to the album cover model’s page will set you back $10 (£7.35) per month, as her bio on the 18+ site reads: “Penthouse Pet '87, Vivid girl, AVN Hall of Fame, Blink-182 cover model, multiple award winner including Best G/G and B/G.”
Photographer David Goldman previously spoke about the iconic album cover, explaining the glove was inspired by the original title.
"Up until the very last minute, the album was going to be called Turn Your Head and Cough," he told Huffington Post. "And that's why I came up with the idea of the glove. Obviously, an enema is not really a glove type of thing. I thought it was a good visual."
Speaking about whether shooting the cover did much for his career, he said: "To be totally honest, it didn't have the effect I thought it would.
"You always think there's going to be one thing that you blow up from, but that didn't really happen. It was just another good thing that happened, and it went in my book."
