The BRIT Awards need new presenting talent and they're casting their net out to pretty much anyone who reckons they'd be able to do it.

They've launched a nationwide search to uncover the next hidden gems among the UK's budding presenting talent.

Winners will earn the chance to host The BRITs POV, their new content series for The BRIT Awards social media channels.

With an audience of over five million followers social media channels that racked up over 1.1 billion views from last year's show, it would be quite the task for a new presenter but if they could make a success of it that'd be impressive.

As well as giving music fans more content focused around awards night itself the Brits social channels also host BRIT Certified, New Music Friday and the BRIT Billion award for a billion streams in the UK.

The search is on! We’re going nationwide to find the next big presenters for a brand new video series, The BRITs POV 🔎

So what is this 'The BRITs POV' malarkey?

It's mean to keep music fans up to date with the latest goings on within the world of entertainment.

This thing needs hosts and that's why The BRIT awards have launched a search for new presenters.

Some of their past presenters include the likes of Maya Jama, Munya Chawawa, Laura Whitmore, Nella Rose, Vick Hope, Jack Saunders, Yasmin Evans, Todrick Hall, Jamie Laing and Jordan Stephens.

It could be a big chance to boost your career as a presenter into the stratosphere if you can prove yourself adept at handling large audiences that come with the platform.

If that sounds like you then applications are open here, and it involves you creating a short video about a recent story.

Successful candidates will go through a review from a judging panel which includes The BRITs digital team, their creative agency S:E Creative Studio and Remel London.

She said: "I had such a great time interviewing on the red carpet at the BRITs 2024 and now I get to help the BRITs team find new hosting talent for The BRITs POV.

"It’s such an exciting opportunity and I can’t wait to help find and work with the next generation of presenters!"

‌The Brits POV is set to launch later on in 2024, and applications close at 23:59pm on Wednesday, 18 September.

You'd best be aged 18 or over and living in the UK, as well as able to communicate your passion for music and pop culture.

They're looking for someone who is comfortable in front of the camera, who can self-shoot, edit and is looking to get their first professional presenting role.
