Miley Cyrus has confirmed a Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special, and you'll be able to tune in from the UK.

In case you missed it, the former Disney star is set to perform in front of a live studio audience, followed by an interview with Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper.

According to Disney, it 'will offer an intimate look at the creation' of the beloved character, alongside never-before-seen footage from the series.

It will be the first time Miley has donned the iconic blonde wig since Hannah Montana ended in January 2011 - and fans are thrilled.

"This is my moment! I’ll be seated and ready," one shared on Reddit. "Still refuse to believe it was 20 years ago."

Another said, "My inner child has been healed."

"Was my very recent childhood really 20 years ago?!" a third added. "Seriously though, how exciting. I am so nostalgic."

Taking place from 2006 to 2011, Hannah Montana followed teenager Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus), who played a double life as a high school student and global pop star.

The hit series famously featured her father Billy Ray Cyrus as her onscreen dad, with guest appearances from godmother Dolly Parton.

Speaking about the upcoming reunion, Miley said: "Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection.

"The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m very proud of. This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve stood by me for 20 years."

The Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience, hosted by Call Her Daddy podcaster Alex Cooper.

It has not been confirmed whether or not US fans will be able to purchase tickets for the event.

For those of you based in the UK, the special episode will be available on March 24 via Disney+.
