Lily Allen has brutal response to ex-husband David Harbour calling her album 'weird'
Lily Allen reckons that her former husband David Harbour offered a 'generous' review of the album she penned about their breakup.
The singer-songwriter found solace in the recording studio after parting ways with the Stranger Things star and ended up producing more than a dozen hit tracks.
When quizzed about what he thought of her critically acclaimed album West End Girl, Harbour described it as 'weird' - and Allen has now responded to her ex's evaluation of her work.
The 'Smile' singer, 41, sat down with The Cut to discuss the reception that her project received upon its release in October last year.

Music fans have been digesting the cutting lyrics on West End Girl - which she impressively managed to complete in just ten days - ever since, even though she did point out that they are half fact, half fiction.
Inevitably, her former husband Harbour was asked about his thoughts on what Allen had produced, as it appeared to make some seriously salacious allegations about him and their four-year marriage.
The actor, 51, told Variety in June this year: "It was weird. I do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that.
"I can’t really say that much more, because it’s my private life. In spite of the fact that a lot of people don’t allow me a private life - I value it. And I also value the lives of the people that I interact with privately."
For these reasons, the New Yorker said he didn't want to discuss his thoughts on West End Girl any further.
Allen has headed on tour to belt out the 14 tracks to fans at a string of extremely intimate shows and now, she's reflected on the frenzy that erupted in regards to her lyrics.
Speaking to The Cut, the London-born star explained that she noticed fans 'fill in the blanks' themselves and 'incorrectly interpret' some things that she said, too.
She said that she 'doesn't really mind' people gossiping and guessing about her private life, as she considers it to be just 'noise'.
"I think when people really get it wrong - when they say things that are just plainly untrue and rehash old rumours from ten or 15 years ago that I don’t want to comment on because I don’t want to add fuel to the fire - that makes me sad, yes," Allen told the publication. "But also those are the consequences, right? Like, I have to live with what I’ve said and done before.
"And I think the mystery is engaging in some way. If I was to speak too much on it, then it would become boring much quicker."
Allen was then asked to share her thoughts on Harbour's description of West End Girl.
"I think that was a generous thing for him to say," the mother-of-two said. "He’s having a real moment of success as well, right? He’s been nominated for an Emmy, and it’s great.
"We’re all doing our own thing, and we’re all doing what we’re supposed to do.
"If there’s one thing I know about David Harbour, it’s that he’s an excellent actor."
Harbour scooped the gong for the Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie earlier this week for his role in HBO's DTF St. Louis , marking his first ever win at the Emmy Awards.
Allen also said that she is 'booked and busy', so it seems that everything is working out for both parties right now.
