Attending a concert of THE Madonna is probably something you’ll remember for the rest of your life, especially if the Queen of Pop herself calls you out in front of thousands of people for sitting down.

In another episode of Awkward Moments Caught on Tape, it appears that the latest victim of word vomit is the one and only, Madonna.

The Vogue trend-setter is currently on her 'The Celebrations Tour', which began on Saturday 14 October in London, and is now wrapping up with a final set of dates in Los Angeles.

But there’s something people are wagging their tongues over after the singer’s latest show.

It was her blunder for mistakenly calling out a wheelchair user for sitting down at the concert.

In a clip posted to X, formerly Twitter, the prima donna can be seen standing on stage when she appears to clock the sitting fan.

Madonna called out: “What are you doing sitting down over there?

“What are you doing sitting down?”

Suddenly, the crowd starts to react to the answer of the audience member and the singer moves closer to hear but may have peaked the wheelchair at the same time.

That’s when M-Donna replied with a flat response: “Oh okay, politically incorrect, sorry about that. I’m glad you’re here.”

After watching the blunder, one X user stated that Madonna was ‘so weird’, to which fans of the Like a Prayer singer got up in arms about.

Someone responded to her quip that it was tiring to see people constantly look for something wrong with Madonna: “But she acknowledged she was wrong and apologised.

“How is she weird? she wants her fans to stand up and enjoy the show during that particular performance. stop trying to make madonna look bad.

“Isn’t it exhausting always trying to find something?”

However, this wasn’t the most popular opinion on the social media platform.

A lot of people were stumped over the fact that the pop icon questioned a fan sitting when they technically paid for a ‘seat’.

Someone wrote: “Does it matter if they’re sitting or standing? they paid for the ticket and took the time to be there? Isn’t that enough???”

Fans aren't happy with the singer's remarks.

Another stated: “They paid for a SEAT!”

But was Madonna wrong for questioning why a fan was seated at a concert which generally people attend to dance and release some feel-good energy?

As one person wrote: “Ok you shouldn't be calling people out for sitting down anyways. She's not the queen of England. Some people are tired or have conditions where they need to sit. You want them to leave altogether?”

Apparently so!

I mean, let’s be fair and admit that she probably didn’t think about the fan having a condition which would require a wheelchair as she called them out at her show.

However, some people do just like to kick back and chill out at a gig.

We’re all paying for our own tickets, right?
