For Oasis fans all over the world, 2025 will always be remembered as the year Noel and Liam Gallagher were able to put aside their differences for an iconic 41-date world reunion tour.
But as the brothers hang up their guitars after completing the final show in Brazil's São Paulo over the weekend, talk has already turned to what, if anything, they will do next.
While many people feared the reunion tour might be a one off, Liam already appears to have put those fears to bed on social media.
When a fan on X branded the shows 'the greatest tour of all time,' Liam responded: "Until the next 1 I mean thanks."

It comes after the frontman told fans they would need to 'sit down and discuss these things,' adding: "If it was all up to me then you know we’d be touring till the day we die as it’s the best thing in the world but unfortunately it’s not."

In another post on X, Liam told a fan who asked why 'The Hindu Times' wasn't on the set list to 'chill', adding: "It’s not even HALF TIME yet it’s a tour of 2 half’s [sic]."
However, it does sound like plans are in motion with several insiders mentioning talk of a residency at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, as well as a return to Knebworth. According to reports, the band have also been made offers to play at Coachella in the States and Benicassim in Spain.
Meanwhile, one particular source says Oasis will be taking a 'long break' following the legendary tour, before they decide to announce their next move.

"This tour has gone better than anyone could have imagined. Noel and Liam will both be taking a long break to compute the magnitude of this tour," they told The Sun.

"Being back together on stage has been incredible for both of them, and to have guitarist Bonehead back with them for the last shows has been nothing short of phenomenal.
"They’re aware of what their fans want and know the demand would be there if they did decide to put out a new greatest hits album — or to play more shows."
Hopefully fans will get some new Oasis content soon, as much of the tour was filmed behind the scenes and is set to be made into a film by Steven Knight, who also happens to be set to write the new James Bond film.

"Steven Knight’s film from behind the scenes of the tour will give fans something to look forward to while they wait for Noel and Liam to decide what is coming up next," the insider added. "The offers are theirs for the taking."
