Grab your best cowboy boots and Akubras, because Australia's getting a brand new country music festival this Spring: Strummingbird. And the headliners are colossal.
The lineup is a country music fan's dream, with headliners Jelly Roll and Shaboozey both heading to Australia for the very first time. Joining them on the bill are the likes of Treaty Oak Revival, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Matt Hansen, Drew Baldridge, Julia Cole, The Jack Wharff Band, The Dreggs and more. Can I get your loudest yeehaw?!
Strummingbird is set to kick off on October 25 at Sunshine Coast's Kawana Sports Precinct. It'll then head to Newcastle on November 1, taking over the Newcastle Foreshore, before wrapping things up at Perth's Claremont Showgrounds on November 2.
The live music promises to take place across two separate stages, but this festival is delivering the full country experience. You'll be able to ride a mechanical bull, go line dancing with Maddison Glover and enjoy some specially curated food and bevs that celebrate "our one-of-a-kind Aussie country culture."
